Parallax setting for multiple distances....

I just want to double check.

Shooting a drill back and forth between 2 different distances... Hold over between the distances, not time to adjust parallax or elevation...

Parallax/focus should be set to the *FAR* distance right?

The far distance is where parallax will hurt you more, so it should be set right at the far distance... and even if the image is blurry for the closer distance, "suck it up". Right?

That's the "usual" way, but you have to find what works for you. If the two distances are too far apart, then you might want to settle on a in between compromise.

I set it for the in order of

Hardest, most likely to be in poor position, shot

If equal

the smallest target

If equal

Middle distance to split the error equally.

I do the same as Charlie. I always set my dope or Parallax for the target with the most difficulty. If they are all difficult then some where in between.
