Sunday October 2 - NCPPRC LR match - COF TBD

Saturday October 1 - NCPPRC Team match (see below)

Sam and I are going to run a Team Match on Saturday October 1 immediately after the regular long range practice to test out the concept and format.

There will be no entry fee for this one match. Those participating are welcome pool their dollars and make a wager with the other teams.

It would be nice if the established teams would participate. We need a minimum of 6 people (teams of 3) to test the format. If you wish to participate please post on the NCPPRC forum in this thread - http://www.ncpprc.com/forum/phpBB3/view ... =15&t=3786. If a regular team members will be there have one team member list the names of those on the team. If a complete team will not be present and you can enlist someone ahead of time, include their name. If you are not on a team and can organize one prior to the event, list the names of those who will be on your team. We can make up teams as needed on that day from extra individuals.

Since we are starting out on the 1000 yard line, entry would be limited to those who have shot at least 3 matches with us. For you Socal people, If 2 team members have shot at least one (1) match and one (1) practice session they are good to go, as long as the third person attends the morning practice on 10/1.

The Rules

Team Match COF

The Team is limited to 75 rounds/shots on target.
Prep/consultation time of 3 minutes once all shooters are at the firing line.
Shooting time at each distance is 45 seconds.
All three team members shoot from the same firing point, at the same time, on the same target.
Targets are not spotted after each string of fire, but pasters will be placed on the holes.

Shot value

1000 COM - 15 pts per hit
800 COM - 10 pts per hit
600 COM- 5 pts per hit
425 Head - 10 pts per hit
300 head, slung up prone - 10 pts per hit
200 Hostage - 20 pts per hit, but any hit on a hostage and team gets a 0
Only hits count. Scoring ring value is not used. X ring hits will be recorded to be used as tie breakers

Teams will shoot from every other firing point. First relay from even numbers, second relay from odd.

TSB accepts your name and your challenges. We would like to up the stakes to winner drinks FREE! You boys can't be good for more then 2 pitchers anyway. TSB will probably suck the taps dry before you guys have ordered your pizzokies.

Would love to make this one! But my rifle needs some minor repairs! If its done before then I might be in. We will see.

For the LR match you can just show up. It's a good idea to let Rob know you are going incase the event starts filling up.
