Score Hi Day 1

Post by rksimple »

My lack of practice is showing. Making rookie mistakes. Wind is DAMN tricky/switchy.

David Tubb in 1st place lol. Didnt realize he shot tactical matches. Ryan is only in 5th place and he says he has not been practicing and making rookie mistakes. I have been practicing and not been making rookie mistakes and I probably couldn't place better than 20th lol.

That's because he's shooting the entire match either unsupported prone or offhand...... Bipods?.... we don't need no stinking bipods........

Yes.
The best part was when he goes to the prize table in 3rd place and the top prizes left are scopes and a Sierra bullets certificate, both things he has no need for.
He himmed and hawed for almost a minute while everyone in line behind him was waiting and then he finally took a rifle case.

I don't do any of those things.

A local guy who can shoot with the best shooters in the country at this type of match.

Dude the guys wanted me to go postal on him but I held back! But Ryan did ask him if they got there coating machine fixed and he's said "Yes, it has been". So does that mean its been fixed for a while or just fixed? We will hopefully soon find out.

I kind of unloaded on someone Friday or Thursday when I called. Not too bad but bad enough that a comment from you guys would have driven the point home. :D

Tim threatened to punch him in the nuts... Seriously. He walked up to him after day 1 and said he wanted to punch him in the nuts because we've spent over $2K on 6XC brass and bullets in the last month and a half. I don't think he found the humor in it.
