I'm already looking at my schedule to see if I can swing it.

Field courses, target id, uneven terrain etc...
We don't know how strong he is on those types of courses as we have only shot with him on mostly open ranges.

I'd love to swing it but funds are running low trying to get some rifles finished.

Shooting matches is more important than building rifles.
Rifles don't make you a better shooter.
Shooting different kinds of matches, especially big ones, do make you a better shooter.

Exactly. Give yourself a chance. Both of you guys are good. You can beat this guy. Even if he is the Grand Dragon of field courses, target ID (something you don't know), he can have a bad day. Don't give up even before the contest has begun.

Give yourself a chance.

Haha oh your so kind...

The rifles are mostly paid for now other then on randalls end. The funds are now low and im pretty sure plane tickets, hotel, and the match fee isn't gonna help.

I hear ya. I was only half way serious. I try to go into all matches like that. No pressure on myself, no expectations, no stress, etc. That way I can focus better on shooting and not fucking up.

This is just a friendly reminder that the match registration date is approaching fast. Registration will start the Day after tomorrow, Wednesday December 15th at 08:00 Mountain time.
It is very important that you use the following e-mail address < shtrc2011@scorehi.com >
If you receive an auto responder saying that you are too early you will need to resubmit after 08:00

You registration must contain:
Your full name
Include your email address for contacting you. Do not rely on the e-mail heading. I could make a mistake?
Your complete mailing address
Your daytime Phone number

Thanks for your interest and I hope that every one that wants a slot gets one.

Based on the above, Is it safe to conclude that shooting different kinds of matches with different guns... makes you an even better shooter :?: :?:

I used lettermelater and scheduled it for 7am and another at 7:05 as there is a 1 hour difference between mountain and pacific time zones.
I did not get an autoresponder from either email saying I was too early.

Just noticed that section on the form the other day. What's the full list of people we have going? Every one who's going should sound off in here so we know who to request.

I will be there.

As it sits now, I have a full day on Thurs. Probably leave Thursday evening or really early Friday.

Charlie-depending on when you're done with the meeting, might work out for driving. Might be a little difficult though. Just let me know.

Nathan-I will have room even if Charlie rides with me.

Seeing how this is getting closer, what is the room situation looking like? Are we all bunking up or everyone doing there own thing? I need a roommate or I could sleep in a car no big deal to me. Also I was planning on bringing 250 rounds of ammo. 50 to sight and Dope and 200 for the Match if I get to shoot. Is that enough? If I don't get to shoot then I wont have to worry about any of that. Ryan I'm still planning on going with you either Thursday night or Friday morning as I have shit going on Thursday afternoon.
