Congrat's to Ray and Rich
So I just shot a 600 yd and 1000 yard match the following day... We won't talk about my scores but night match was won by Rich Gonzalez and the 1000 yard match was won by Ray Riganian! Congratulations to both shooters. The matches were held at Desert Marksman and run by Brad Khan. Thank you Brad for running a great match and listening to your shooters. The matches run much faster now. I will let Ray and Rich give the scores....

Re: Congrat's to Ray and Rich
Thank you Sir.... I shot a 191-4x (dropped 9pts) the x was 2.5" pretty hard to hit from 600yds but managed a few lucky hits. I won a certificate for 300 berger bullets and gonna cash them in for some 300g hybrid .338"s THAT WAS AWESOME! It was a narrow win with Ernesto R only 1pt behind me. For the 1k yd match I shot my .50 and managed a 242-10x (dropped 8pts) but this target is more foregiving with 1moa x ring. Ray kicked some serious ass with his 338 norma mag. Too bad Matt Thompsons computer wouldn't print out the rest of the results but one of us will post them when he emails them out. It would be awesome if more of us would shoot this discipline together and represent! Thank You Joe308 (Hernandez) for an awesome job rebarreling my rifle bro!

Re: Congrat's to Ray and Rich
Its up to Mark to post the scores. Last I knew he was up at the range with no internet, so its possible that he hasn't had a chance yet... I happen to know that Ray dropped only 1 or 2 points on the 1k line... I had a problem with the wind (shooting 308) I had 3 shots completely off target despite the wind flag being in the right spot.
I still managed to score 209, but I had too many 8's and 1 7 so it was a bad day for me....

Wind condition.
600yd... calm with mirage, yes mirage at 11.00 pm.
1000 yd.... switching wind, constantly letoffs and pickups
change values from 1/4 to full, wind speed anywhere from2-3 miles to 7-8 miles.mostly from9 oclk.

Re: Congrat's to Ray and Rich
Mark, Glad to see you on the forum bro! Brad usually takes a few days before he sends them out. I usually get a printout straight from Matt T to post scores as soon as I post an AAR but his generator wasnt cooperating with his computer/printer. Ernesto you need to bring them skills to our Caprc monthly matches and Wegc and kick ass there too! That goes for you too Mr. FiskSniperhandle wrote:Can someone please post the scores? Thanx, Mark

I could post an AAR but I would probably sound pissy! Grumble, grumble, grumble.

Yep. We really need to straighten every one out on score keeping in the future.AR15barrels wrote:
