I don't think we should divide up socal into two teams for this, this is a north / south match up..
What's the difference? As it is already I'm surprised all the mention of SCPRT hasn't been deleted from this thread already..... Shit... I said it.... Here comes the ban hammer.

I really don't care who I shoot with. I'm not abandoning the guys on my team though thats for sure. If its just north vs south I'm fine with that. You won't find a Caprc shirt on my back at that match though so don't expect some fancy Caprc team tee shirts. Until its decided to support the idea of my team within Caprc and let us be, I want nothing to do with it. If Caprc changes that then i will reconsider. The point is if this is a Caprc vs NorCal thing I'm out. It's N vs S just for fun with friends...

We're Johnny on the SPot with emails. We still have a few of our top shooters on the wait list though. Todd Powers and Greg W hit send a lil too late.

If those two make it in, Charlie should just cut us a check now so we can pick up beer early. :bg:

As for splitting so cal up or not, SCPRT is their own crew. =) You'll have to talk to them about that.
And the taunts start already. This ought to be a good match. It's been talked about since I have been with this group. Will be good to see it happen. Now there just needs to be an actual match between us locally or in Norcal

Due to the numbers this should be a Norcal vs Socal deal. That way we get more that 3 or 4 per team. Each team must define the shooters before the match that will be counted for score. Remember anything can happen like shooter DQs. If a shooter is DQ'd the team is out the points for that shooter.

James CaPRC will have shirts you welcome to one as all are SCPRT members. I understand if you show in SCPRT shirts and would hope we can unite to kick NorCal's A$$.

Vu, if you want I would be happy to buy the beer up front. We would not want you guys to pass off Blue Moon or something like that anyway. I will give you the receipt for reimbursement after we win.

I am going to make a trophy for the winner to hold until the next match we compete in.

I don't even wanna kick NorCals ass. I'm just looking for a good time with my shooting buddies.

Socal has 7 guys total.

Each team has 7 eligible shooters for score.

Top 5 scores from each team are totalled. Bottom 2 get thrown out.

They don't tell you that.
I asked.
If I'm top 10-15, I'll wait it out, hoping to get into the match.
If I'm more than 15 down, I'll opt-out for the year and shoot the club matches.
That way, at least I get to shoot some cool stages and I can drag other shooters along with me that are not on either list... :thumb:

That would be good to know so you can make a decision as to whether or not your are going to goto the Nov-Jan matches.

Mmmmm... Beer is good.

Seriously though, congratulations to those of you who made the cut. I apologize to those who didn't. If we could've had everyone who applied get in, we would have, but we're a teeny tiny club with limited space and resources. Plus, as much as everyone wanted in, no one wants to wait 2 hours to shoot one stage.

A note for those of you who do not wish to take their chances on the wait list and come shoot the forbidden monthly matches: if you share ANY info on those stages with other folks from your crew and we find out (and we ALWAYS find out), I will promise you that we will make sure you are banned for life. Not only will you not be able to shoot TPRC ever again, you'll be banned from any of our monthly matches as well. Other match directors will find out too. So... you're more than welcome to say screw it and come hang out with us hooligans, but, don't be a big cheater. The ladies don't like cheaters. And I know how this club loves the ladies...

Not at all... We just know how Socal likes to party. It's a safe bet that MV will have glitter in his good eye and can't shoot, kurtis will be lost walking home from the tittie club still at 10am in the desert with Jose's cousins, Ryan will be trying to put his eyes back in their sockets, Nathan will be somewhere with the lolly pop guild, Charlie will be laying amongst a pile of busted up dresser drawers from the drunk UFC fight the night before, and ill probably be somewhere high on magic marker fumes from sabotaging all the guys Caprc shirts while they were passed out.

The chances on 2 of those actually happening AGAIN are VERY high. We're just playing it safe :thumb:

If you party you have man up in the AM. We should count all the SolCal shooters that show Sat AM. Vu will need to match the number and define shooters at that time.

The worst case Socal loses, best case we win. It's not life or death.

Since there's a mismatch in the number of players, how about simply averaging the scores.
7 socal shooters, average all scores.
17 norcal shooters, average all scores.

That way, the 7 socal shooters don't have to shoot against the BEST 7 norcal shooters.

Eh Randall,

Not my problem ya'll didn't get 17 in.

If we actually did a north vs south, i am going to put our best vs whoever you can come up with.

Figures you would game that shit the way you did.

Doesnt take a fool to see that when you have a crew of 17, there is a higher chance of more shooters having a bad weekend.

You got 8, we will pick our 8 to shoot against your 8.

I think we will go with

matt mcginnis
brian sanders
skit
francic
mike cecil
Bryan Y

How about this instead.

We snap a picture of all 16 competitor's. The 8 losing shooters bowing to the winners as they hold the flavor flav clock high and proud.

Losing team is required to put the picture on their homepage for 1 month.
Winning team can post the picture anywhere they wish.

This includes Caprc and SCPRT homepages.

Vu, just curious and you may not know the answer to this... How many of your 17 sent their entries by cell phone. I think that if I had my network service, it would have been faster....
