CaPRC match at Angeles 10/9/11

The California Precision Rifle Club is proud to announce that our next match will be Sunday October 9th at the Angeles Ranges.

Signups start at 7:00am and shooting should start at 8:15am when the line goes hot.
Please arrive at the left side of the Angeles rifle range no later than 7:30am to complete your waivers, sign-in and get assigned your shooter numbers.
Your shooters number is also your position on the line so please lineup accordingly.

This will be the 10th match of our 2011 points series.

Match fee is $20 for Caprc members or $30 for non members.
The match fee also includes use of the range after the match is completed.
We usually try to finish by 1pm.
Bring 50 rounds of match grade ammo.
Be prepared to shoot as close as 10yds and as far as 600yds.
Be prepared to shoot from standing, kneeling, seated, prone and other improvised postions.
Bring a backpack to shoot off of for stages that don't allow a bipod.

This match is open to bolt action and semi-auto rifles from 223 up through 308.
A velocity limit of 3100 fps will be in effect to reduce damage to club-owned steel targets.
Bipods, slings, shooting mats and rear bags are allowed and recommended.
Chamber flags are mandatory and are available from the club if needed.

Line helper RSVP's will be accepted anytime.
Member RSVP's will be accepted after 12 noon on Monday October 3rd.
Non-Member RSVP's will be accepted after 12 noon on Tuesday October 4th.
Shooter RSVP's posted before those times will be ignored.

Please RSVP by posting something very definite in this thread such as "I am in" or "I will be there" as we will ignore "maybe" or "if" RSVP's.
If you RSVP and later figure out that you can't come, please post that as well so we can keep the RSVP list current and move people up from the waiting list.

No worries.
We designed around that.
Lots of paper.

With only a few steel stages, we will have the other shooters spotting.
I'm printing targets for 16 shooters in case there are last minute signups...

What is with all the last minute adds?

I printed 16 sets of targets as we only had 15 signups as of noon today.
Then the last minute drops and adds got us to 17 and I printed another set for Henry.

There's a reason we take RSVP's a week before the match...

eta: you're lucky I'm still up and have paper in the printer.

I had a great time as always guys. Thanks again to Randall and Brad for running the show. Thanks as well to Charlie for the COF. I thought it was gonna be much worse.Gonna do better next time......
