WEGC PBR Match Sunday 9-18-11

Post by Spaniard »

Hey Men,
It was a great day for shooting, the weather was warm and little wind if that matters. Somebody has been practicing and it shows.
We had 10 stages of steel and paper and a first time shooter that has never shot a match before won the match. Some guy named Ray said the same once before, uh huh... Where do these rifle Ninjas hang out, I need to go there too :tech:

Anways, here's the breakdown and a great time today.
1) Aaron Branch-566 Points-Great Job Aaron
2) Ray Riganian-434 Points-Good Job Ray
3) Keith Nelson-400 Points-In the hunt Keith
4) Rich "Machete" Gonzalez-335 Points
5) Steven Rogers-280 Points (and counted twice)
6) Henry Song-264 Points
7) Randal Rausch-221 Points (fix that rifle you)
8) Rolando Fernandez-197 Points (your coming along amigo and had a few good stages. Stay at it)

Man Vs. Man Aaron Branch Gread job to the end.
Top .308 Rich "Machete"- "Ricardo Bornchez" Gonzalez from the Inland Empire Highlands damn I need to take a breath with a name like that.
Fastest Speed Drill-Aaron "Fiero" Branch. That cat was on fire today, 3 medals in one day. A new club record.

The pictures were from the phone, so clarity isn't best, but it got the job done. In picture number 3, you'll see Henry contimplating getting out of shooting and taking up knitting. Man I hope he doesn't go that road, come back to light Henry.

See you next month.

I sucked assed big time...... Maybe I'll take up golf........ Someone once said that shooting and golf are similar. Since I suck at shooting, maybe I'll find out if I suck at golf too.......

Nevertheless, Thank you Mark for an excellent match.

Aaron, that's the last invite you get....... Great shooting.

Let's see .........
Going to church with the in-laws or hearing the sweet sound of lead hitting steel down range?
Decisions, decisions, decisions ....
Church bench or shooting bench?
More decisions ….
Bible or DOPE Book?
O.K. – I will have to decide soon …..
I know …… I will just pray that I am dialed in …. Yea, that’s the ticket !!!

Hey Joe, do you need a scope? You can borrow one of mine or rifle & ammo if you need it, I'll spot you the gear if you wanna shoot.

Hi Mark,
I am going to attend. I have a .308 now instead of that .300 Win Mag that I tried a few months back.

According to my data book from when I shot the August "F-CLASS" on 8/15/2010, at 0745 my Kestrel 4000 NV measured:

Temp: 65.3F

Pressure: 27.46 (That's "Absolute", i.e. "Station Pressure")

Wind: 5-8mph

Altitude: 2,341 feet

Density Altitude: 3,452 feet

Humidty: 31.2

Dew Point: 34.1

Wet Bulb: 49.3

Hope this helps, good luck.
