Well the club cleaned up TBRC. What's next? Would be fun to hit up some out of state stuff.

There is no more big west coast matches unless we put something together.

Kurt said he's not doing sin city this year.
Mark's not doing SCPRC this year.

The next big match is Phoenix in February.
So, we can plan to go to phoenix at least a couple times before the end of the year.
I would also plan to go to Sac a couple times.
Kurt is down for summer, but starting in september, we can go to Vegas.

It would be really cool if we could put together a big so-cal match late in the fall...

If we do it I will most likely not get to shoot it :) That said we do need to get it started.

There's the Sniper's Hide Bash probably around November. I encourage everyone to go to an RO match. Shooting with some of those guys can be a rather humbling experience.

We need to start a birthday list going for the traveling group. On everybody's birthday month we should go shoot a Vegas ;) match. If ya know what I'm sayin. 8-)

If your birthday falls on a month during the summer where there is no match we can still pretend there's actually a match in Vegas ;) and go anyway.

Vegas matches are a blast. It usually turns out being a g-r-e-a-t weekend.

But if we want to get something going for a decent sized match, we should get to gettin.

=) LOL...I have yet to post much since I know Team So Cal is basking in the glory, as you should.

It all came together and Jason, Ryan, Randall shot extremely well. With James being in to top 20, that is a very good weekend. My hat is off to you all.

Where do we go from here? North Vs South.

12 vs 12. A straight up team match. Ryan, Randall, and Jason proved that home court didn't mean shit.

So whats up, lets pick a date for 2011 and do this already.

This is a textbook hustle :)

I try not to bask in the glory too much.. I just enjoy shooting with Socal, Norcal, and the rest of free America. These matches are a good measure of how well you stack up against everyone else but there isn't too much of a "versus" mentality.

With that said, I've been waiting for N vs. S for two years.. THIS will be about kicking some ass!

Indeed.
I think we should do north vs. south before the norcal guys can train up and be ready for us.

Too late for that Randall.

The ass whoopin lit the fire under their asses, trust me. There is this no more "ahhh, its sac valley, we shoot there all the time." bullshit no more.

The boys are motivated.

Let's really look at dates, rules, format, and stuff like that.

I am camping this weekend so start thinking of these things, and lets get together next week and get something down on paper.

LOL..nah. Just lit a small fire under some asses.

Rivalry drives competition, and competition drives the pursuit of perfection in our skill sets. We may bust each other’s balls, and gun for each other at matches, but people are starting to realize the West Coast has some serious trigger pullers, in both North and South.
Over all, I was happy with how the match went.

Did it hurt handing Ryan that 1st place trophy, sure did. What club president wants to hand the 1st place trophy to a rival team? However I was glad we kept the trophy in the West we it belongs. 2 1st place trophies have gone North, and 2 to the South now.

Keep up the good work and see you guys in AZ.

Yup, these guys need at least one adult keeping them out of trouble.

First we need to figure out how many guys can you guys get come up for this event.

Off the top of my head we can pull 12 to 15 on our end easily.

LOL here we go.

Well, lets do this then. Losing team has to wear the shirts the winning team makes up.

We will do scores each day and the team behind has to do the BBQing and serving.

Match fees will pay for range fees. Any materials if needed. (we have almost everything), BBQ for both days, and one pimp ass cup that can passed on year to year.

Team members have to be regular shooters within your club.

A few years ago, a bunch of guys got together and put on a match out in the desert.
It was known as the area 51 match because it was done on the sly, without permits or anything.
Hence, the match that never happened.
You can tell the guys that were involved when you see the area 51 shirts.

This banter is all fun and knowing guys from both North and South I can say California FNG Rules. I say N/S Cal make an effort to go out and beat some serious butt in other states, so maybe this Ca Surfer thing can be put to rest. I hear it at the beginning of many F TR Matches.

Doc tells me my back is f'd for about six months more, but I promise to give any help I can to guys, North and South.

While I am healing I have started to get my comp gear up and running for Tactical Matches again. 260 is on way. Going light to protect what back I have left. Anyone needing gear let me know I have tons of it from deployments and just doing the stuff so long.
