Weather is shifting every day up here guys. Bring rain gear...hopefully that will keep "Murphy" away for the weekend.

I'm just preparing my gear for this weekend and I ran a fresh JBM microcard.
http://www.jbmballistics.com/cgi-bin/jbmucard-5.1.cgi" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I recommend that everyone who's going should have a paper dope card tied or taped to their gun.
The paper card is much faster than a pda if it has everything on it that you need.

I figured out the minimum number of lines I would make my card for this weekend would include the following ranges:
150,200,250,300,350,400,425,450,475,500,525,550,600,800,900,1000

Go to JBM, set up your load and paste the ranges above into the line where the ranges go on the jbm site.
Those ranges should cover you for the paper and steel portions of the match.
God shoots a Remington 700, drives a Chevy Truck and carries a Glock 19.
I don't do any of those things.

two hundred feet is common there.
I have seen it as low as -1000 and as high as +2000 as well.

3-15 if that is what you have been practicing with.. unless you got ammo and time to burn. A return from the factory doesn't guarantee funtionality.. still have to test it and reorient yourself.

I have used the 5 -25 until it went down, that was the last time I shot. Both the 3-15 and 5-25 are back from a rebuild and untested. Fun :)

Guys, I picked up the shirts today. They look great and are close to the color of the pic.

Please bring $15 if you want one. Should be enough for two each.

Dibs on a Medium.

If the 3-15 is a NF.. then that gets my vote!

I'm wondering if I should bring my USO backup.. I have faith in my NF. Plus I'm too lazy to lug around tools.

Hello Guys,

My mom wants to know if she should have dinner for us on Friday? I think she is just going to order El Polo Loco.

Also don't forget to bring you flag paper Vu sent out.
MB shoots should also bring a blast mat.

I would also vote for BJ's on friday night.
We are going to be too tired saturday and sunday nights.

Now if Charlie's mom would make that fish for saturday night, it's game-on!

Wow,
I was working this weekend and was wondering how the So Cal Guys did. 3 in the top 5 very impressive. Great job Ryan, Randall & Jason.
That's a tough challenge to meet no doubt with serious shooters all going for # 1.

Great Job Guys! ;)

The socal guys hit it pretty hard. Not only 3 of us in the top 5, but Jason won fastest shooter, Joe won top 308, and I won top steel shooter. So of all the awards, socal got the majority. It was awesome seeing so many guys in CAPRC shirts getting top awards.

It was such an awesome time! Thanks again guys for giving me the opportunity to do it. I can't believe we put the hurt on them so hard. Ryan and Randall were on fire, Jason was strong all weekend, and even the rest of us were very strong for it being our first big match. I think Norcal knows we're all about business now!

My nerves were going so hard on the beginning of both days but once i settled in i felt a little more comfortable. Next year we will know what to expect out there and we will really turn up the fire. The sad part is a few rookie shots was the difference between 5-10 more positions on the board. Looking back at all the mistakes that could have been so easily avoided makes me a little upset but I'll be ready next year!! I'm still super proud of my 10x so that was an accomplishment that i'm satisfied with.

Charlie, i think we need to pool up a few bucks and get your bro a gift card to a nice dinner or something. Defiantly some very cool people and i'd like to show my appreciation for that. Thank you too for putting it together for us.

Mike-

We got the slings on friday.
I SHOULD have put it on my rifle friday night, but I did not want to screw with the current setup (quick cuff) as I had it right where I wanted it.
Every time we slung our rifles for carry, I was wishing I had installed the new sling so I could slip it open for easier carry across my back!
I'll be putting the sling on my rifle this week and playing around with it in the yard to be ready for the next match.
Thanks a bunch.
This new one is going to be a hit.
It's easier to slip the sling open than to un-snap and install an extension as the extension will have to be packed in your bag and that's just one more thing to pull out and put away each time you go from walking to shooting with a sling.

It's funny. While I was happy to be in 4th.. I was even more happy to see how well we did as a team. Ryan, Randall and myself were rocking at the top 5.. but the rest of the team did darn well especially considering that it was their first major match and NorCal experience.

Shoot as a team, win as a team.
