I took just a few vids yesterday. I'll ask Ho to upload them to his YouTube account.

Congratulations to the top guns. Special congratulations to Rich for rocking second and top 308 in his rookie match, and to Jeff for winning the match with his AR. I'm not sure, but I believe this is the first CaPRC match won with a self-loader.

What a great way to spend a Sunday morning, shooting a rifle match with your son. Nice.

Thanks for putting together another fun and challenging match, especially stage 3 which was the most uniform nad kicking I can remember in a club match, honorable mention going to stage 9. Not that I think either was too hard or unprecedented, in fact it gives us something to practice and prepare for in upcoming matches.

That was a lot of fun. A butt kicker, but a lot of fun. I have a lot of shooting practice to do to figure out some better positions for unsupported shooting, that crap is HARD!

I'll definitely be joining up and coming out to more matches.

That was back in May.
Ron was 3rd.

CaPRC 8/14/11 Match AAR

Post by Southpaw58 »

I wanted to thank the RO's and Line Helpers for running a great match this Sunday last. The COF was both cerebrally challenging, wickedly technical as always and most of all fun! Although I ended up way at the bottom of the shooting roster. I figure this time next year with much more trigger time I should be able to place at least somewhere in the middle :-). The CAPRC is comprised of a bunch of awesome shooters and teachers which I'm honored to be a member. Again thanks guys for a fun day.

A most humbled grinning shooter :)
Damien

Hey everyone. I just wanted to say hi and let you guys know that I had a great time. This was my first rifle match and I learned a ton in a very short time with your guys' help. So... Thanks and I can't wait to do it again. But next time I'm bringing a calculator, someone added up my score incorrectly, I got 30 points, not 20... jeez, talk about adding insult to injury, I already scored the lowest by a significant margin and I still get robbed by 10 points =) wtf, haha
