2012 TBRC Teaser

Post by vu308 »

I've been getting calls, emails, and FB messages about some of the rumors some of you may have heard about our 2012 event, so here is the scoop as of today...

We're already laying down the ground work for this one since it will be the biggest TBRC ever.

This event will be an invitational, with a few lottery spots available.

80 shooters.

260 to 275 rounds.

September 29th 30th. 28th will be a check in day. (This date is already locked in)

No pit pulling. I have worked out a deal with the Jr. High Power team to pull targets. This lil fundraiser will help send them to Camp Perry, it's a win/win situation for all.

You'll have an extra 2 to 3 hours of shooting.

Cost will be going up to 230.00

25.00 of that 230.00 will all go to the Jr. HP team to help send them to the Camp Perry. Other increases will cover coins, mugs, patches, hats, and shirts.

Ok guys, remember the club motto (Don't Fuck Up) and get on Vu's naughty list. He will be checking it twice.
For some of us it will be a long 15 months.

LMAO.

Actually, it's don't be a D-Bag, and you will get an invite.

On a serious note, it's my ROs that give me the majority of the "naughty list", and other MDs. If match fees included us dealing with BS, the price would not be affordable.

Vu said we will not be pulling pits... That would give us free half day of shooting time. I would not think anymore time would be required.

Its really only 60 - 75 more rounds for starters. Our COF was 197 rounds this year. I am thinking 260 to 275 in 2012.

Since the Jr. HP team will be pulling pits, that buys us another 3 hours to 3.5.

When you have an experience range crew of 35 +, and a bad ass range like Sac Valley, we'll be able to pull it off.

By having target pullers that frees up one squad to be shooting on another bay, and two squads on the steel bay. By utilizing a fourth bay for 2-1/2 to 3 hours we can rotate squads around. Plus we can move some paper and individual shooter stages from the steel range. That will let us increase the round count and still have better time management.

If I'm reading this right, you're talking about 2012 and that gives me enough practice time to put another lady on the competitor list.

Vu, I'm thinking we'll need a special prize for the lady winner. TAD's interested... haha. Gina's going to get a little competition from Gina Y and myself. Not to mention these other yahoos who better watch out. Especially Bradley... he won't be able to focus with so many women around him ;)

Sounds like a great event. This past one was my first and simply awesome - can't wait to see something even better! Thanks for all the hard work to organize these.

Raquel, you KNOW I'm down with this! I'll even help with training if you and Gina Y. are interested. I can imagine the bets being made on us already. ;)

Hi Vu

Would LOVE to finally be able to shoot with you guys in Nor Cal!
Past dates conflicted with the Bianchi Cup handgun match, where I was contracted to be competing.
When will sign ups open?
Maggie has a new 6.5 Creedmoor and may be ready to compete also.

Thanks

Well there goes everybody's chance for first place.

Honestly, I hope to shoot the TBRC next year as well. Your shooting at the 2009 TPRC was amazing.
