Took the girlfriend shooting yesterday and...

She's hooked!! She started out a little rough(having never fired a rifle before) but after some dry firing and going over the basic fundamentals we began shooting. She started at the far left 200yd pig did pretty damn good then we went to 300yd and had a line break. I put our target out and she shot a one and a half inch 5 shot group. Four within an inch and one flyer. Again not bad for her first time out! She shot at pretty much everything ASR has out there and she did surprisingly well, nailed all 5 shots on the "small" pig at 600, 3 of them were touching(Jay thanks for the spotter it works pretty damn well for being a cheap little Konus as you put it lol). My stock was way too long for her. Gotta get her a shorter one. She will be joining us for the CAPRC clinics A-D and eventually competing. I'm proud of her she did great!

I am going to give her my 308 and buy a different stock for her as mine is too long. Then I'll have Randall build me a Surgeon rifle I already have most of the parts so fuck it why not lol
