Everyone. No one really cares about that requirement but if it came up, there are enough people that are members or shoot matches there that it would be a non issue.. Plus, I'm really tight with the range VP. :oDirtRacer151 wrote:

Yes, but without 6'x6' fames they aren't much good. There wont be anyone there, though, so we jus drive out to the targets any time. I can go up whenever, I only live 15 minutes away.DirtRacer151 wrote:

I'm fine with that. So are going to do DM? Does anyone need directions? We would need to do a one time deal at the gate so we're not running back and forth.AR15barrels wrote:

Is there a breakfast joint around there? We can all meet for some grub in the AM and drive in as a group after. I don't know how to get there.

Well we can at least meet for some food somewhere on the way. Then it gives everyone a chance to group up so we're not driving in one at a timeAR15barrels wrote:

Oh boy, don't know if I have the sac to drive out the DM that early. Every day this week has been an early morning and it's catching up to me. What time and what's the address or cords?

14 North exit Angeles Forest. When you get to the stop sign at the bottom of the ramp, go straight.(It comes up quick, do not stay on the on ramp for Pearblossom) Go 5.5 miles or so, about 1/4 mile past Mt. Emma rd is a large white Forest Service gate on the left. There is a small sign there that says Kentucky Canyon. We will wait there and then drive in at the same time.
I need to be home by noonish. Want to meet at 8? Anytime really works for me.

I'm thinking about going, but am having a hard time trying to figure out the directions and how to get there. I'd also like to carpool if anyone is leaving from or driving by Hermosa Beach.

I wish I could give better directions. It's about 5.5 miles off the 14 freeway, just south of the city of Palmdale. Probably 20(or more) miles closer than the spot.Dive N Shoot wrote:I'm thinking about going, but am having a hard time trying to figure out the directions and how to get there. Re: Xmas eve
Here's the location of the locked gate off "Angeles Forest Hwy" that leads to the range.
Lat. 34.442012, Lon. -188.096685
From L.A. area take the NB 14 Fwy towards Palmdale. Exit "Angeles Forest Hwy",turn RIGHT, then just past the park and ride turn LEFT onto "Angeles Forest Hwy" (where the gang mailboxes are).
The locked gate is about .20 miles south of the "Welcome to Angeles Forest" sign on Angeles Forest Hwy, on the east side.
The road at the locked gate is Kentucky Springs Canyon Rd.
Hope this helps

No!! When you exit the freeway, when coming from the south, you go straight from the stop sign and it is ONLY 5.5 miles. You go 20 miles and you'll be way up in the hills. Ill provide a map in just a minute.robert hode wrote:Here's the location of the locked gate off "Angeles Forest Hwy" that leads to the range.

Here is a pic of the exit. When you are on the exit, it breaks to the right for Angeles Forest and continues straight for Pearblossom, Robert, your directions would be correct if coming from the North.

Thanks for the clarification.
How much is the range fee? I'll probably bring my own lunch but are there any food or vending machines?
Anyone want to carpool from the LAX area?

Not gonna lie or try and split up the group but I don't have too long so I'm going to Angeles for a few hours Friday at 9, since it's 10 mins from me.

So is it Angeles or 'the spot'?
If it's Angeles will Randall bring the extra targets to put out.
If it's the spot, I'll need to carpool or follow someone as I haven't been there yet. I'd kinda like to check out the spot.
