Positional/Props practice day 2/1/15
We have Eagles Nest range D reserved for Sunday 2/1/15 and will be running a practice day for props and positional shooting.
I'll be out at the range by 8:30 to setup for shooting at 9am.
Eagles Nest range D is the last range up the hill at Angeles.
$10 for club members or $20 for non-members.
Current weather forecast for the 1st is 78 degrees and sunny with no chance of rain.
I would like to wrap up by 12noon if we can to keep the range fees down.
If we get at least 10 people to show up, we can use the range for the full day.
If you guys would like to turn this into a BBQ, that could also be worked out.
Please RSVP here if you are coming and if you want to do a pot luck BBQ.

I believe it only goes to 100y. We don't need distance to practice positional at all though.

Perhaps you are thinking of the B range which IS a pistol bay.

It would be easier to just do everything at 50yds as it makes line breaks and target swaps much easier.autoessentials wrote:We don't need distance to practice positional at all though.

Does your 22 function/recoil exactly like your centerfire gun?
If not, you are just playing, not practicing...

I plan on shooting at some 5 dot drills, hostage targets and shoot and sees mostly. If you want to print up some of the larger 5 dots and any hostage paper that would be great.

I'm in.
Since it appears we have more than 10 people and can stay at the range past noon, I'll also bring a .22 and some baby steel targets for positional/plinking and hope you guys will as well. If there are other .22s there, we might even play some games to make it more fun.
