I am confused about all the different ways there are to initially calculate dope. There are programs for my I Phone 5 but I don't know what, if any, are recommended. I could print out a drop sheet from my desk top, and the Kestrel 4500NV with Applied Ballistics looks like a possibility.
Advice would be appreciated.

Will they do the calculations without an Internet connection?

Re: Ballistic calculators
Thanks for the advice. I got Ballistic AE and am very pleased. I looked at Bullet Flight and Applied Ballistic. BAE, in my opinion, was superior in what it does and far better for ease of use.
