I stayed at the Venetian last year with the family. Showed up with a SKB golf case and never had a problem.
There are plenty of hotels off the strip which are ok with you carrying your rifle case in and out.

The casinos with the grand entrances where you have to take an elevator to your room will usually not allow your rifles to go to your room.
I always make a point to stay somewhere that you park right outside your room or where you can enter the hallway directly off the parking lot without passing the front desk or any security types.
Those places don't seem to mind you taking rifles in the rooms...
God shoots a Remington 700, drives a Chevy Truck and carries a Glock 19.
I don't do any of those things.
Myself and Joe H stayed in a large casino a few years back. We got some cheap guitar cases for $30 and rolled straight through. We got some funny looks wearing camo pants and guitar cases. They must've thought we were in some crazy ass band

I read on snipers hide they had enough people on the wait list they could fill a whole second match. Not trying to discourage you just letting you know your chances.

Thanks for the heads up. That's totally okay, too far for me to plan January weekends anyways.
Sounds like there are enough people to do another match, just need a host...

Just shoot the shot you are shooting. Don't worry about the ones in the past or the ones to come up.

Match was won by Chase Stroud... Vegas guys put on a hell of a show... James and Solomon placed well.. Everybody else placed about mid pack... Just got home now... left at about 8pm....
Had so much fun... Got a chance to meet all the shooters and my fellow spotter was a Special Forces dude and I enjoyed talking with him...
Thank you Roy and Dane and the entire Vegas Crew...

If "midpack" means near dead last, then that is accurate for me..... Everyone has a bad day now and then, I just was able to put two together.

Yea, I'm extremely disappointed in my performance to say the least. Way too many mental f-ups and unforced errors from either going too fast or not getting stable.
I had a blast which I suppose is the most important part but I really need to figure out a way to up my game. Unfortunately I have exactly zero more hours available for more practice or training.
It was a pleasure missing with you gentlemen though

I think we need to organize a few desert trips where we can shoot out to 1400+ yards. I was hitting the 998Y bear just fine but I only got one hit on the 1200Y and the 1400Y (after the buzzer). My wind reading needs some serious work at those distances.

Well, you may have a point.
That and 123's have no place shooting that far. I got one hit beyond 1Kyds, from all the shots. Tate Moots was also shooting 123's and he also had great difficulty connecting beyond 1Kyds.
Beyond that, it was a bunch of unforced errors on my part.
