It was a great match guys. Beautiful location. Good course of fire. Delicious BBQ catered for dinner with plenty of micro brewed beer. Bagels and coffee both days. Did I mention the scenery? EZ up tents at all stages were great as well. And a prize table that included a package of 14 different suppressors, along with payment for all of the tax stamps worth over $20k! All in all an awesome match. Hats off to the match directors and RO's who helped out.

We got plenty of rest on the ride up so we were ready to go for the match!

made it back home,
they say pictures speak a thousand word , very nice location, across canyon shooting , difficult conditions, beautiful
scenery .According to some of the pro shooters ,hard match ,Duston Mooris said difficult match, from the scale of
1 to 10 it was 8, similar comments by most shooters ,the shot percentage was around 60%for the first place shooter
now I can post the results of our guys shooting, with their permission,
Rich C. 17th place
Joe V. 36th place
Solommon 37th place
Nathan 41th place
Henry S. 44 th place
Ray R. 10 th place
some how by a miracle my shots were finding the targets, lucky I guess.
PRS page should post the full match results soon ,to find out who scored what.

Few photos from the weekend. By far one of the best times I have ever had at a match! Good people, good food, and great times! Highly recommend you guys getting out there to some of these big matches.

SilencerCo knows how to put on a match. Stunning location, 18 unique target packages for all stages, no down time, great food (morning, noon and evening). Every stage had two RO's and they had addition support personnel on ATV's. Everything planned to the smallest detail (like Honey Pots at the shooting area :D ). The stages were deceptively challenging. All field shooting conditions; across canyons with switchy wind. Day One and Day Two stages were shot at different areas, not a rehash of old stages. Quiet Riot definite Two Thumbs Up :thumb: :thumb:

Solomon also got some quiet alone time to fondle James Vick's ThunderBeast suppressor, on the ride back to the truck.

My AARP:
Day One: The usual SNAFU's, but in surprisingly good mid-pack position.
Day Two: Total FUBAR. Back to the drawing board...... :loser:

Henry you forgot to mention we shot a suppressed AR on one stage and had all you can drink beer at the end of the first day.

It so amazing how friendly everyone is at these events. Got to pick Dustin Morris's head on the way back to the lot. Everyone is so down to earth. Zero egos.

Top Quotes from this trip:

1. "Wow 6 inches wasn't big enough" - Ray R.

2. "Are you sure that's 4 inches?" - Ray R.

3. "Surround yourself with good shooters if you want to shoot well" - Dustin Morris.

Ben,

The guys that shot this match with a 308 really struggled. At least the ones I talked to and saw shoot.

A certain undisclosed FN sponsored shooter, shooting a .308Win did not want to remember this match. This was no place for a .308Win

Hey now I managed to hit that sucker to! It was even the small target!! I think the spotter got something in his eye at that exact second!! But in all seriousness Ray kicked ass and represented So-Cal well!

This was my first field type match. There was a learning curve for me. Having Ray, Henry, and Joe on my squad helped me out tremendously. I would have been way further back in the pack without their support. I ended up placing 38th but came out with a lot of knowledge that hopefully I can apply next time around.

I hope we get to do it again soon!

I'm definitely not ready for these matches yet, I'm still adjusting to the monthly match learning curve!

Great shooting guys, look like it was a ton of fun, that huge field is beautiful for shooting.
