Yep you had to run with all your gear. It would suck if you had a pelican case. The rear bags are light and it would take to much time to remove them .

No, I knew it was Kerr running and gunning, but he has someone behind him picking up his brass and taking a vid... Who is that?

Steven you did not get my commit. You need to drink with us more. The guy filming and that made the video is my brother.

What I find surprising is the number of .308's,or lack of, I only count 5 and the high .308 barely made the the top 50% ( 36th place). The first TBRC in 2007 Mike Miller came in 4th and I came in 6th shooting .308's.

Have not been around since 07 but I think the game has changed a lot since then. Pretty much everyone is running 6mm or 6.5mm now a days.

How many steel frame bicycles have you seen in the Tour de France lately? Or how many action pistol shooters are shooting a 45ACP? When competition is stiff, you have to exploit every possible advantage. Even when there is negligible ballistic advantage, the lower recoil and reduced movement is reason enough to shoot a "sub" caliber.

If the rules allowed it and you got decent barrel life, I would seriously consider a 22-250Improved/22-6XC shooting 80grs bullets.

It's crazier than mere carbon fiber and titanium. Some of the bikes are actually unpainted to save weight:

I guess in the future everyone will be shooting lasers (actual). no drop, no drift, no recoil.
The winner will be the one who can find and hit the target the fastest and most consistently...
.308 seems like more fun.

I agree but you also don't bring a knife to a gun fight.
When everyone else goes back to 308s then so will i.
