1000 yard ranges

San Fernando Valley to Glendale down to Long Beach and San Clemente.

1000 yard ranges

Any one know of a public range that i can go to, to try 1000 yrds or anything longer than Angeles shooting range, closest to OC would be nice.

There are no public 1k ranges. However, there is desert marksman, Pendleton and Burbank rifle and pistol club and Tri county rifle range. All require membership or prior reservations

Pala has steel out to 1k +- yds but it can only be used when the pistol bays aren't being used! Give them a call for details .

cool thanks guys> I will look them up. I didn't know camp Pendleton let civilian uses there range..

They only let the public on ranges for organized matches.
God shoots a Remington 700, drives a Chevy Truck and carries a Glock 19.
I don't do any of those things.
