Everyone that sent emails is in (except a couple locals).
If you included someone else in your email make sure you tell them they need to send an email to make sure they get the required info and don't get missed.
There are only about 6 spots left so if you want in you better hurry.
I will be sending out emails in the next day or two with more info.

We are full but will accept stand buys.
I would think there will be a few that don't send their $$$ by the due date which is Aug 17. Money needs to be here by Aug 17th (not postmarked Aug 17th). At that time we will send emails to the stand buy shooters if there are any openings.

I know that Brad likes to stay at the Red Rock Inn/Casino... He is a high roller.... Last time Keith and I were there, we stayed at the Silverton Inn/Casino which has a Bass Pro Shop attached to it and the worlds largest indoor aquarium... approx 89.00/night for a double queen... It was really close to the range... I vote for the Silverton.....

Red Rock is close. So is Suncoast. Suncoast is usually pretty cheap and it's a nice hotel for the money. Silverton is a little ways away, but its right up the 215 to the range so it's not that bad. Good rates usually as well.

Or you could do what Randall and I did back in the day and crash at the Rodeway Inn for 39 bucks and pray your car doesn't get broken in to.

I guess my question is are you guys staying at a big Casino type place, hauling your rifles through a casino each day, etc? Don't forget its a holiday weekend, not sure if $89 rooms are in the cards. Silverton is showing $255 for 2 nights right now. Is there just a plain old Comfort Inn/Motel 6/Super 8 type place that you can park in front of your room that is not too ghetto?

edit. Local LaQuinta is $99 a night, Hampton Inn has no rooms, Holiday Inn Express $124/night

Silverton is $109/night which is 10.00 more than the LaQuinta which Charlie and I stayed at before and they had NO hot water....

Basically we are looking at about 100/night for a good hotel.... The cheap places are scary and far away, but I can be talked into almost anything... It just has to have hot water and give out more than 1 key/room....

Hauling rifles through a big casino will get your rifle locked up in security hold for your stay. Ask Vu about that one.

Another nice one where we stayed a couple years ago for this match was Tuscany Suites. Can haul your rifles right to the room, not too scary, nice rooms, good price and only a couple blocks from the strip.

In my defense, we stayed there a bunch of times and our cars never got broken into.
But we did always bring the rifles inside for the night just in case...

I won't stay at big casinos just because of the carrying your rifle to your room problem.
My vote is for la quinta.
Good rooms, close and you can carry your rifles to your rooms...

All depends on the casino. Have your rig locked up in a vault isnt such a bad deal. You have access to it 24 7.

Treasure Island didnt care. 4 of us rolled through with our kit and pelicans and no one even blinked.
