I have not gone back to work yet as I am on crutches and non weight bearing. I did attend a 2 day EDAP (Emergency Dept Approved for Pediatrics) conference and they saw me and didn't say much.... I have a doctors note covering all my absence, so there isn't much they can do and now I have a legitimate injury, just looks kinda strange....whatever... It's karma for calling in sick....

I found it extremely difficult to find the targets especially in the train up as I was only using my Leica RF to search for them and then the scope on the rifle... Bruno N. gave me a pair of Bushnell 1600 ARC 12x50 binoculars with a RF built in to use for the match... That helped alot, but with the sun early in the morning, it had a tendency to wash out the targets to the rangefinder...Also as Henry indicated, from the staging area, you couldnt always be sure that the target you were seeing was part of the stage. You had to be right at the shooting point and reference the left and right shooting limits to confirm your target and you were not allowed into the shooting area until it was your turn....This was true field shooting. There were no mandates on how to shoot the target. There's your target, this is the shooting point which you must maintain contact with or be able to reach out and touch without moving, solve the problem... Not all shots were possible from prone. Several stages you needed to engage either off hand or with sticks/tripods/sitting....

Oh definately now..... And it sucks.... Square range is MUCH easier.... But if you can field shoot, you will be that much better as a shooter....

No, I did screw up my back bowling, but I was bowling 6 simultaneous strings at once by myself.... But then I was walking in the neighborhood and stepped wrong and pulled my calf muscle.....
