What all prep do you do to the brass nowadays? It could be a long night of its new brass and you go crazy making perfect ammo.

Run it through a size die, chamfer and load.

Works for me.

Nope, I have one on order but it's a year out. I have some high end lab scales bit did not have time to mess with them today.

Ammo is load, rifle is cleaning with some patch out and my laundry is in the wash. Time for bed.

They can't open up the waiting list if people don't show up the day of the
Match.

I was on the list and got the call on Thursday. You guys should talk to Randall. He had a spot and did not show.

Bullshit, you don't know what the fuck you are talking about. Randall had a bag with a shit in it. Charlie knows Randall and was assuming he would show.

Some guys had the wrong direction and got stuck on some back dirt roads too. The spots would not have been available until 7:00 AM of the match day. If someone was hear with a rifle they could have shot.

Really, If you don't know you should not say.

You can shoot a 308 with better ballistics than my load or a factory 6.5CM. I don't know why you all think it's that bad. A lot of constant wind is easy, It's the light shifty stuff that's hard.

This match is challenging in many ways. All stages shot form port of arms, no prep, shifty winds, rain, many KYLs and a lot of "field" shooting. Ryan and I were one of very few that made a shot starting port of arms and dropping to prone and hitting a 250 yards target in under 5sec. No time after the buzzer is allowed in this match. 5.01 seconds is a no go.

I shot well in some stages but a 0 on three KLYs will kill you in this match. Of the 46 shooter shooting ALL are great shooters, really stiff comp out his way. This is not the usual 100 KYL dots but 500 and 600 yard KLYs. The 600 small target was 2" and the fastest time got all the steel from the stage, about 1,000 dollars worth.

how do you define field shooting? using sticks? natural terrain? So there was a side pot for the KYL's and the winner won 1,000.00?

The match was so much fun. It was great shooting with so many friends.

Nathan is going to be winning matches soon. He showed some solid shooting this match.
Ryan, well it's Ryan. He was the top shooter the 2nd day and we won the calcutta auction, walking with $910 cash. Me will it's me. Ryan and I were tied for the top shooter for the 2nd day until I put and round into the berm and zero the the last stage with six rounds to go and already had 140 in the bag. That stunt moved me from 8th to 26th. All said and done this match is great and I will be doing it again.

I pulled this off the prize table. I can go shoot some matches with Ben now.
