Shooting set for 0800, shooters meeting at 0745 on March 4th. $25 entry fee, $100 cash purse available. 40rds COF, 100% of the entry
fee goes to NSSF and we will be at the Ashfork location. We have brought in more targets and 5 of them are full size IPSC targets, 3
others are full size IPSC targets that are cut in half. Expect winning scores to be around the 70 - 90%. Distance from the muzzle to
1100ish. All stages will be some form of prone, we will not have any weird stage requirements. The only thing that will induce stress is the
time limit. See you guys in 1.5 weeks. Please email or call with questions and email if you plan to attend, so that I know how many people
to look for. Call if you are running late so that we dont start shooting. (928) 308-8093.

Looks like I'll be there.
God shoots a Remington 700, drives a Chevy Truck and carries a Glock 19.
I don't do any of those things.

Thanks for making the trip out from Ca. Apparently I screwed us with the little wind quote from earlier. Wind was is 5-18 mph for the whole match and then 2 hours later, no wind at all! Pretty tough day. Maximum points was 300. 7 new shooters showed up, braved the conditions and connected with targets. Hopefully some of us can make it down your way later this year.

Re: MARCH 4TH AZPRC MONTHLY MATCH, $25 ENTRY FEE $100 PURS
Wow.. What a match. It was supposed to be 65 degrees and light wind. Turned out to be 40's with gusts over 20mph. The range is in a rock quarry that over looks a valley of forest/desert. Its just outside of the town of Ashfork which is litterally a hole in the wall town. 1 market, 1 gas station and a bunch of run down houses... Went into the gas station/market and the clerk is pack a 6 shooter on his hip...
Anyway, the COF was 10 rounds from 4 different shooting areas (rocks) so 40 rounds total. You shoot each target 2x's 10 points for a 1st round hit and 5 points for a 2nd. Target distances varied from 320+ yards to 1078 yards. Target sizes are generous in some areas and tiny in others. Targets are also VERY difficult to locate. They are marked with tape around the targets that are color coded to each individual stage so that was good, but it was still hard to find. I ended up not shooting one of the stages because I could not locate any of the targets. So for the 1st 2 stages I had a whopping score of zero. Then I got hits in the 3rd stage and 1 in the last stage. Keith did well. Ended up getting 14 hits.
Took about 9 hours to get home with gas/rest stops. Had a 1 hour delay from an accident on the 14 freeway. Total in gas was 254.00 and 140 in hotels.
We need more people to come next time so we can split everything 3 or 4 ways. Looking forward to the next trip.
