You will probably need a scope with some target knobs and you best bet for learning would be to attend one of our clinics.

Have you tried shooting at Pala, the range on the indian land. Its on the 76 past the 15...They have targets out to almost 900 yards, though it is a members only range....Read the Dope on Dope post in the forums and goto JBM balastics on the net and make out a range card and then try going to Pala and getting actual hard dope... Or, like James said, you can come to our next begining clinic in December....

Do you mean a scope with a Mill reticule and mill adjustment's? Mine does have 1/4 MOA adjustment for Elev/Wind but no side parralex. As soon as i get back to work (hopefully soon) I want to get a Mark 4 or NF, Have any of you guys used the Vortex Viper?
As for the Clinic i really want to make one, but i was hoping i could get some practice in for the mean time. Locally.
As for Pala, No i do not know any one who is a member.

That is what i figured, I really wanted a better piece of glass, i just can not afford it right now being unemployed. I figured that would get me shooting and trying to learn the fundamentals. Here is what i shot yesterday at 300 1550ft 89 deg wind R-L 5-8 mph Bar-N/A. I want to reach out further, but i still have a lot to learn and stuff to get. Is that okay, its 3-3 shot groups, the 9th is behind ruler?
