Much was learned, and much fun was had.
Thank you to Randall, our Cuyama host Michael, and Frank for jumping into the pit and on the line.
Temp most of the day was about 90-degrees, with a DA around 5300. Wind was left-to-right in the morning at around 4-10 mph, and then right-to-left and sometimes a little switchy in the afternoon. A delicious lunch was served...Ribs & Sausage...Brad was missed, but Randall came through (Randall, you make an excellent fruit plate!

That's all the pics I got...hope some of you guys got a few more -

Today was the most fun I've had on my rifle. Wind sucks. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I found the wind call page that he had out there. Save it and print it out. The book is called The Wind Book For Rifle Shooting.

Hey Darren,
Great pictures! I'm glad you all had a good time; something about friends, barbecue, and shooting combine to make even a hot and dry Cuyama day fun. Now you have some good elevation dope for 800, 900 and 1,000 yards. Good windage takes more rounds downrange -
"The Wind Book for Rifle Shooting" is worth the small investment for sorting out the wind.
If anyone wants to come out to Cuyama again, we hold NRA approved (earn NRA classification ratings) on the third Sunday of the month. If you did not include your email on the sign up sheet yesterday, send an email to: myke155 "at" yahoo.com and I will put you on the monthly mailing list. Odd months are a Palma match and even months are 2 x 1,000 yard Match.
Best,
Michael

The clinic was awesome. I had a great time and learned a lot, and it was a terrific group of folks to shoot with.
Huge thanks to Michael, Randall, and Frank for running the line, coaching/spotting, and organizing/setting up the event!

Thanks for the link Derek. I took their chart, and redid it to make it a little more bold and legible (for my old eyes) . and it prints out at 3x5" so it fits on an index card or in my shooters wrist coach.
