2014 PRS (LHR) get in the game!!!!!

Hey CaPRC.
Few changes for the 2014 PRS. Most notably the LHR for you all that don't wish to compete in the Pro devisions. Only a two match points race and it's outside of the PRS Pro Devision.
If you want to hang with people in the shooting sports and perhaps get some sponsors one day this is the place to start. The PRS has a lot of outstanding matches out west so travel should be limited.
It'd would be great to see CaPRC man up, perhaps even get a team together and start shooting with everyone else. AZ, NV and Norcal all have great representation assuming we will see some action form SCPRT too. Time to get in the game!
As for me, well, I'll have NV colors from now on. I hope to see you all at some of the Vegas monthlies.

I'll need you to pick me up from VGT when I fly in for the monthlies. Some of the best monthly matches around. The mover practice is worth the price of admission.
The PRS is evolving to be the best of the best as a metric to rate shooters on a national. level. We have a number of fantastic shooters here locally (cough...soro, James, joe, rich, etc.). All that needs to happen is for everyone to attend more of these national matches to glean more breadth in skill across many diverse COF's. SoCal could be a force to be reckoned with. All the other clubs showed up. You didn't. Just show up and represent!

In the middle of the move now. That said I've only slept at my house for 12 night in the past 80 days. I think I've slept 14 in Vegas so you could say I'm in Vegas more than CA.
I'll have my CA house until the end of March. Nick's renting my Camo house so all the CA ends are tied up. I looking a few places to buy in Vegas. If I can't close on something my March 30th I lease a place for 6 months.

I'm new to this forum and would like to know if the membership to the Precision Rifle Club has openings. I understand that you have a limit of 75 members to the club.
I have a new gun coming, it has been built and they are presently shipping it. GA Precision .308 Hospitaller. I have been shooting for many years, but am new to the long distance shooting.
So, I am going to need coaching to get into the grove.

Jon,
you really need to make a point to first come to our A clinic on March 29th that is listed on this forum. It is the best starting point for a strong foundation from which to learn from. You should have your rifle, scope and rings, a bipod and a sand bag. If you need help with any of these items or others, I would suggest contacting short action precision on this board. Nathan is famous around here for setting you up with the right gear at the right price. I hope to see you out at the clinic!

Thanks for the advise Charles. I am looking forward to breaking in and need a place to start. Working things out with the 6 month old at home and then I will make it out more to shoot. Thanks for your assistance last Oct, you showed me a couple things at a train up shoot. I have really enjoyed meeting and shooting with you and other gap shooters like Mike Rogan, Shannon Kay, and Bryan Morgan. You all have been awesome. Good luck with the move, I know that moving is tons of fun and hopefully I will see you at a Vegas shoot.

I am trying to find more information and the LHR series, and I am not having any luck. Can you post a link to a site or elaborate a little more. Thanks.

Hey Jon,
Welcome to the GA family. I shoot for TeamGAP and would be happy to spend some time coaching you one on one. Hit me up when you rifle arrive and we can get you up to speed quickly.
If you want to have some great fun attend some PRS matches. Everyone thinks they are not ready but the only way to get ready is to shoot one.

Thanks for the heads up Charlie. I just registered and signed up for the LRH Series. I’m looking forward to stepping up my game this year.
Just a heads up for the LE/MIL folks out there, Rich Emmons and Company have been gracious enough to waive the $52 membership fee for all Active Duty LE/MIL and Prior Service Members who have deployed as a gesture of appreciation.
Check out the link that I posted earlier here for all the details.
