Range Recommendations

Hello, I am looking for range recommendations in the inland empire.

Angeles Firing Ranges is great but a hour drive for me.

I prefer to stay away from Lytle Creek.

I submitted an application to WEGC but they are not accepting any new members now :(

I have to wait until April of next year and it depends on the renewals and I do not know where I am in the queue.

It would be awesome if I can find a range to practice at closer to home.

Thank you in advance for any recommendations.

Sign up for the limited membership at wegc it's only like $50 or so untill your # comes up for the full membership if you get on the list. Atleast you'll have a place to shoot meanwhile.

I read you can only shoot out to 100 meters and no weekdays with the limited membership :(

LIMITED ANNUAL= 50.00/YR dues + 5.00 range fee/each visit. Each LIMITED Member is allowed 2 guests which pay 10.00 per visit. All LIMITED MEMBERS shoot at MAIN RANGE F, Sat, Sun 8-4 on non-major holidays. (pistol + rifle – out to ~100+ meters) Sign-up @range – 2 forms (only available @range) Membership Card given out; no gate code included. No NRA membership required. All guests must fill out Waivers with each visit. Waivers are located at the range.

Thank you for the recommendation.

Do you know what they charge for their memberships?

150 per year.
My biggest beef with WEGC is even though you can shoot to 550 its rare that you can actually even do so.

I dont know if you are up for a drive but you can be a member at Desert Marksman in Palmdale for 100.00 the first year and then it's 60.00 thereafter and it's also open 24/7 and has a dedicated 600 yard line, pistol shoot house, black powder line, 75 yard tactical range, and they do have a 1000 yard range but that closes all the other ranges.

Angeles Firing Ranges is closer for me.

WEGC would be the best if and when I can get an annual full membership.

WEGC back ranges are first-come, first-served during the week.
You just need to get there before anyone else does.
ANY member can lock up the whole back range until 10am and use the 550yd line.
At 10am, you will have to clear-out though for other members to use the private bays.
