Fire at the range. Range closed for fire investigation.

I went this AM, and a guy driving out said range closed- He said some idiot was using tracers.

Check the website before heading up on mon/tues to be sure it's open.

We were there when it happened. I heard nothing about Tracers. It happened on the main line while we were in the back.They had it % 90 put out before Calfire even showed up.

Was not on the main firing line when it happened but it spread pretty quick. If it was not for the other members stepping up and putting out the fire it could have been much worse. Fire was pretty much done when Cal Fire got there.

Damn, I gotta say we did a good job of putting it out. Pulled out shovels from the conex box and handed them out to the others that were helping. Even heard the fire crews saying we did a good job but they had the long water hoses that really put it out further up the hill where we couldn't get to it. It could have been really bad with the wind blowing pretty hard.
