Signups start at 7:00am and shooting should start at 8:15am when the line goes hot.
Please arrive at the left side of the Angeles rifle range no later than 7:30am to sign-in and get assigned your shooter numbers.
Your shooters number is also your position on the line so please lineup accordingly.

The match fee also includes use of the range after the match is completed.
We usually finish by 1pm.
Bring 70 rounds of match grade ammo.
Be prepared to shoot as close as 10yds and as far as 600yds.
Be prepared to shoot from standing, kneeling, seated, prone and other improvised postions.
Bring a backpack to shoot off of for stages that don't allow a bipod.

This match is open to bolt action and semi-auto rifles from 223 up through 308.
A velocity limit of 3100 fps will be in effect to reduce damage to club-owned steel targets.
Bipods, slings, shooting mats and rear bags are allowed and recommended.
Chamber flags are mandatory and are available from the club if needed.

Hi guys,

I'm not ready to participate in a match yet (still need optics and other items). But I'd like to observe the match (maybe towards the end), and then hopefully talk to some people to help me make some decisions on the items I still need. Maybe take a look through some of the scopes people like to use.

What would be a good time to show up (I don't want to distract anyone with questions during the match, obviously). Should I come in the afternoon or earlier? I haven't been to this range before, where will I find the club?

Thanks!
Jeff

As Evin said, come out for the hole match, We all ways need
an extra pair of hands and this is the best way to see what this
game is all about. You will learn more then you think.

135 miles and 2.5 hours drive for me. I enjoy shooting the matches but I do wish they were closer. WEGC is a lot closer for me. I will try and get to a couple CAPRC events this year but I will probably shoot mostly WEGC matches.

You will be given the ranges to targets during the briefing.

Please have your +3 people sign up here and post their own RSVP's so that we do not duplicate them by accepting your +3.
We like to have an accurate head count and if some of those +3 have already RSVP'd above, then we are counting them twice in the first post...

I understand your point however my +'s are not "Internet forum people". As hard as that is to believe, there are still folks like that out there. I thought it was better to help and have them come out to shoot with us than to leave interested shooters of the game.

Unfortunately 1 of them got the flu bug going around and had to beg out, so it will be me +2.

If you want additional details, please PM me.

Just got back from the range setting up steel with Randall.
Lots of new steel and COF for you folks.
This will be your first match towards the PRS club series.
We will have club sign up sheets at the match, just bring
your NRA number and $50.00.
see you in the morning rain or shine.

Ask or Randall, he will be getting the paper ready for the line and
getting every one signed up. I will be finalizing the steel placement
down range.

I used an articulating arm with a clamp to attach it to the bipod. It'll be lighter once I get the the pic rail installed.
