The California Precision Rifle Club is proud to announce their next centerfire match will be Sunday December 23rd at the Angeles Ranges.

Signups start at 7:00am and shooting should start at 8:15am when the line goes hot.
Please arrive at the left side of the Angeles rifle range no later than 7:30am to sign-in and get assigned your shooter numbers.
Your shooters number is also your position on the line so please lineup accordingly.

Match fee is $20 for Caprc members or $30 for non members.
The match fee also includes use of the range after the match is completed.
We usually finish by 1pm.
Bring 70 rounds of match grade ammo.
Be prepared to shoot as close as 10yds and as far as 600yds.
Be prepared to shoot from standing, kneeling, seated, prone and other improvised postions.
Bring a backpack to shoot off of for stages that don't allow a bipod.



This match is open to bolt action and semi-auto rifles from 223 up through 308.
A velocity limit of 3100 fps will be in effect to reduce damage to club-owned steel targets.
Bipods, slings, shooting mats and rear bags are allowed and recommended.
Chamber flags are mandatory and are available from the club if needed.



Line helper RSVP's will be accepted anytime.
Member RSVP's will be accepted after 12noon Monday 12/17.
Non-member RSVP's will be accepted after 12noon Wednesday 12/19.

Please RSVP by posting "I am in" or "I will be there" as we will ignore "maybe" or "if" RSVP's.
If you RSVP and later figure out that you can't come, please post that as well so we can keep the RSVP list current.

Man! I wish I could go! I've only put 20 rounds through my new 700P 308! Work has slowed down.... and it's out of my means... Haven't even tested out my new muzzle brake that Randall installed a while ago! Hopefully soon! Best of Luck guys!

Looks like we have 7 shooters for Sunday,
I will print targets for 10 shooters and set up to
run the match, the only concern now is the weather
forecast. If I am unable to put targets out on Saturday
evening then I will post up.

Edit: oops I thought your meant you only had 20 rds left. I only have 20 rds through my rifle and am maybe going to be able to confirm zero tomorrow. Come on out anyway, you gotta put rds through the barrel to break it in anyway. Might as well get some practice with some comp drills while your at it.

I really would enjoy coming out. I really don't think I can make it out on Sunday, though. I have to wait for some more work to pick up soon. If I can make something happen by tomorrow, I'll definitely say something.

Who is worried about a litte rain? Haha.

Ok, so I did a FUBAR guys, I called angeles and asked them what time the last seasefire was
and they said 05:45 (I thought that was a little late) so I get up there at 05:15 and the place is a
ghost town except for the pistol line and the gate to the conex box is locked. I find out that the rifle line closes
at 04:45. It's too dark to set up the steel and it is raining.
So as you can figure out my now, there is no match.

So the new plan is we are all gonna go over to Brad's house to have a match shooting rubber bands at him. Loser buys the beer.

Every on have a great Christmas and a safe New Year.
The January match will be the 4th Sunday and it will be
a PRS series match. I would like to see every one who
enjoys this game to sign up for the PRS, they promote and
represent the sport in a positive way, and that is a good thing.
I cant think of one club shooter that cant make the final roster.
So enjoy the holidays and I will start to kick your asses net year.
