This is borrowed from another site:

Here is the registration info from Scott and Crew.

AZ Long Range Precision Rifle Shooters is proud to present the 5th Annual Tactical Precision Rifle Challenge(TPRC) at Phoenix Rod & Gun Club in Phoenix, AZ. Once again the match will be over Presidents Day weekend (Feb. 16th & 17th) with check-in scheduled for Friday, February 15th. This will be part of the 2013 Precision Rifle Series.

For those who haven't experienced TPRC before, this is a fast paced match with minimal down time. Competitors can expect to engage a range of various types of targets from 7 yards to 710 yards. Due to the distance restrictions at our range, we tend to incorporate quite a bit of movement. Over the course of two days, you can expect to shoot 200 rounds.

This year, we're going to try something a little different. This will officially be a trophy match; however, we WILL have a prize table. This year, prizes will be raffled off randomly by shooter number after the awards ceremony.

We will also be doing a cash payback for the top 5 shootes.
The match fee will be $200 and will include range fees for checking your zero, a T-shirt, patch, challenge coin, lunch on Sunday, whatever other cool swag we can find to fill up a goodie bag, as well as beverages while at the range.

We will host 60 competitors. Of those, 5 will be reserved for military personnel and the rest will be a combination of long time alumni, sponsors(email for details) and newcomers.

Registration will open Monday, October 1st, at 6pm PST. Emails should be sent to azlrprs@gmail.com with your name, address, email address, and phone number. Notification emails will be sent out Thursday, October 4th with an official application. Payment must be received by Friday, October 19th or you will be bumped to the bottom of the standby list.

We are looking forward to seeing old friends and some new faces at the match!

I am going for it. Hope to see you all there.

Well last year I sent it in 30 minutes late. Did not get in. Prior to this email entry thing I had shot every TPRC match since its inception.

Same thing with the San Diego guys. Had shot the match since its inception but sent their emails late 6-15 minutes. Did not get in.

I think two of the San Diego guys were somewhere in the 10-15 range in final placement. One of them the defending SCPRC champion.

So it's not because I suck that I didn't get in... because those two guys I mentioned didn't get in either.

And no... I wasn't an asshole during the match.

Did you make friends?
Placement, mil/leo status, and time don't get you in to most big matches. Try making some monthlys and show everyone you want to be there and are pleasurable to hang around with and you'll probably have better chances of getting in again. If you got in before and not again its probably because you didn't leave an impression on the match director.

Yeah... I don't know about that.

I know Scott isn't the MD anymore but whenever I see Scott he remembers me and we chat a little. LH Gina greets and sorta remembers me whenever I see her.

Check the roster of the last TPRC... a lot of new shooters. I really doubt that they even knew the MD's. How did they make an impression if they hadn't even attended?

And I may not be a pleasure to hang around with... but the San Diego guys are definitely a hoot to hand around with. And yet they didn't get in either.

I think the TPRC MD's are straight up. They go by time of entry.

So what time did you and Charley send in your emails? Or did you guys get in because you are friends with the MD's?

Scott is still the MD. I would strongly suggest going to there Monthlies through out the year to get to know those guys. There monthly is an awesome match and they are some of the best group of people out there to shoot with. That does not mean you get to shoot there big match necessarily. Just helps them get to know you and remember you. Once you have shot the bigger match get to know the guys on your squad. A lot of the times they are shooting the other matches across the country. Its a small community. With more and more shooters out there it is getting harder to get into these big matches if you are an outsider. Just the way it is. We were all an outsider at one time just have to put in your dues.

I won't know if i got in until i receive an email saying so.

The reason you saw so many new shooters names on the roster is because the sport is blowing up. Tons on fresh new faces show up at monthlys all year long.

I'm just making a general recommendation. If you'd rather rely on the time stamp of your email then thats ok too.

Here's the news some of you have been waiting for; who in. Emails will be going out later tonight with match info and entry forms. We've just been too busy to get them double check them for errors yet due to our travel schedules.

We asked everyone who submitted an entry to tell us how many times they'd previously shot a TPRC match. Math involved. Percentages of entries in each "# times shot previously" calculated. Final list agreed upon. If you do not see your name included on here, you are on the standby list. Please DO NOT email 100 times asking where you are on the wait list. As soon as a spot opens up, we'll contact the next in line. We look forward to hosting you all at our match.

This is why I don't like super light triggers. Just light triggers.

For the record, Nate and Ray ND'd, but I don't know what the situation's were, so I won't speculate. While in some matches, the first ND will result in a zero'ed stage and the second ND will result in a DQ, the Phoenix Rod & Gun Club is in a city park, so they have a "zero tolerance" for ND's.

I like to make some correction for those who like to speculate about what happened
No it has nothing to do with 8 oz trigger I never said anything about having an 8 oz trigger nor I support the idea.it was not a pre mature ejaculation either . Finally my last 4 points were not given to me my total wash point were 33 points , on top of that they made a mistake on hostage target I made 9 shots on that target of which I only missed one but they gave me 7 points instead of 8 but I never opened my mouth to say anything about it. It did not matter anyways.so if you count my points 16 points plus 75 points for the short range and 33 points for the wash that totals to 124 total points and that would have put me in the 11 th place . As I said it does not matter at this point

Thank you

James and Ryan rolling high as usual. Congrats on your finish.

Too bad for Nathan and Ray, ND can happen at any one point regardless of what triggers are being used...
