Are you going to use NorCals spare NF, or did you bring your own backup?

Ryan shoots a Bushnell. But the shooter that had the issue replaced it with the F1.

James kicked some ass!! Lot of tough shooters at this match. Was awesome getting to help out and see how behind the scenes worked. Great experience being behind a spotting scope. Learned a ton from just helping out.

Thanks guys. I sure didn't expect a top 10. I seriously dropped a lot of shots on positional paper. Took zeros on 300 yard head shots sitting and unsupported prone. Both of my best positions. For sitting all of my shots hit within 1" of the 8" head all around it but not even one went in. For unsupported prone all of my shots went into a nice 4" group.... about 2" low and right of the 8" head. I was hitting low off the 8" head and didnt figure it out until we got to prone at 500 yards. I was attributing it to being my fault since all shots were positional or no rear bag out to 600 and all head shots but it was actually because my gun lost another 70fps of velocity. After shooting so bad between 200-500 i took a shit load of zeroes. Anyone whos shot sac knows a shit load of 6's are better then 1-10 and a bunch of 0's. I thought i was done for. Thankfully i shot really well on the steel portion of the match and gained a little bit of control again on 600-1k paper. I guess in the end we all face the same difficult struggles. Whats hard and frustrating for you is most likely doing the same thing to everyone else.

3650 after this match. I haven't shot at all since last years SCPRC. If I would have hit my cold bore the second day I would have moved up 10 places!! Competition was insane. Match was run incredibly well. Prize table was insane, which isn't really a reason to shoot a match, but placing 32nd and still taking home a $1250 scope cert is unheard of. Definitely the most awesome match I have ever shot. It's definitely motivated me to step up and shot a lot more this year.

1st place was a Vortex Razor 2nd Place was an S&B and I think 3rd place was an S&B as well. Mostly S&B Premier US Optics and Bushnell. Not a lot of NightForces but they were there. James was the top finisher (9th) with a NightForce.

Is it a rule you have to carry your pack with you on the field courses? I don't remember having to do that the first year they held the match in 2007.
I also noticed on the barricade everyone with the sandbag attached to their sling the sandbag was swinging like a pendulum, would it have been better to take it off for this stage or rest your rifle on it ?

You were required to take it all with you. I think that also meant a few guys had to bring their drag bags with them on the stage since they brought them to the staging area
