				Hey Gents-
I need to get in shape for TBRC. so going to Angeles tomorrow for practice. I'm planning on doing some 100 dots, positional and holdover drills.
Any recommendations for range exercises/drills to do in prep for the big matches?

I think Charlie likes shooting dots and jumping up/getting down in between to make sure you get on the rifle consistantly every time.

Do u have a timer. Start practicing with a timer and pushing yourself with time limits.

Shoot dot drills at 100. to late to worry about anything but that.

I did a bunch of positional shooting today-- felt good. My dot drills sucked. Put a 1 min timer on some of drills which always adds a bit of stress.

Don't worry about stress until you can clean a 10 dot drill getting up between shots.

Actually the timer was less about physical stress and more about finding a rhythm for positional shooting. When I run the timer, it's easy to see if I'm running my shots too quickly or if I can take more time.

Today, I am doing positional dry fire practice in my back yard. Hope the neighbors keep the shades closed.

If your neighbors can see into your yard, your fence is too low.

Might be a bad idea.
911: 911 operator how may I help you?
Caller: there is a man pointing a hi powered rifle towards my house.
911: Stay calm. Help is in the way.

It's good to know your neighbors.
I dry fire in my front yard.
My neighbor across the street nicely asked me not to point guns at his house.
Then we talked about guns.
He likes the AK, but he is originally from Russia...
He wants me to help him build an AR.

Yes that is the standard thinking. I like to push the envelope.
