All the Surgeon guys own a ton of GA Rifles. I need a Surgeon rifle for the safe. It's good to see a Surgeon Rifle on a table that's kind or rare.

Edited the Sponsor list to include LV Steel Targets so Kurt doesnt beat me up.
Surgeon Rifle is in 308win.
Yes, the Surgeon Rifles are very rare on the tables, we are very honored that they stepped up big and engraved it for our 2012 TBRC.
Charlie has no worries because that rifle is staying in NorCAL!

Only reason it may not is because a Surgeon guy might win TBRC, so then a GAP guy out of state can take it home......... >;) BOOM!
Hmmm...100.00
Save that coin for Vegas...we'll see how lucky I feel when I get there.

No slots available. I even have sponsors on the wait list, so they will get first dibs on any open slots.
Also, I much rather have people who shoot our event because it's a good one, not because of a 100K in prizes on the table. If prizes is the main reason why you want to shoot this event, you're not the type of competitor we are seeking. That is the plain, blunt, and honest truth. Sorry if it offends you or anyone else.
The competitors we invited wanna see where they stack up against the best in the game on a given weekend, and our roster without a doubt contains a large portion of the competitors that dominate this game around the country.
Example would be the Team GAP vs. Team Surgeon battle. This will be an EPIC match up with their entire teams present, and shooting side by side each other in the same conditions.
That very same squad contains shooters like Mike Voight, Scott Parks, and others in the same caliber of talent as well. That is only 1 squad...we wont event start to talk about the 60 others that are there banging elbows over 225 rounds fired in 2 days.

I personally would have preffered to shoot the event next year, as I'm just starting to get good enough to feel I can hold my own in an event like yours. The prize table is secondary to the match and the fact that there will apearently be NO next year.

Most recent wave of goodies from Nightforce Optics. Nightforce is our Long Range Evolution sponsor, and will be giving the shooter with the highest score there a 50% off Certificate.
The other certificate is for a 2.5-10x Compact scope!

I have had a lot of questions on positional shooting.
Instead of trying to explain things, we'll go with pictures.
Off hand: Sling support only..
Sitting:
Even this will work...
So-Cal sitting.....not allowed in NorCal. We don't do yoga...
The famous Regina demostrating the classic kneeling position.
Unsupported prone, not hawkins.....
Lil rear bags can be used under your legs or arms...but not a pack. Good example is like in the kneeling pic of Regina.
If we wanted you low like prone, we would just tell you to drop prone for the stage.
Shooting jackets: Once it goes on, it stays on the rest of the comp during ALL stages, both days. No leather hard backs.

Ouch tough rule on the shooting jackets. Lol on the SoCal sitting. One day I hope to be thin and flexible enough to do that position....
