Match Practice on Thursday 12/29/11

Start time: 9AM at the spot
Car pool: TBD
Rounds: 100 to 125

The goal of thursday will be to train match type shooting conditions out to 1100 yards. This will not be a day for new shooters but for guys shooting matches and limited to six

Jeff 361 and I would love to join. While both of us have only shot one match, we are very keen to do this as a way of getting our confidence up for future matches which we are keen to participate in. (We did both do the 6 day Rifles Only PR&2 course in TX with a half day qualifying match at the end, so we're not total newbies).

Please let us know if we are good to go...

I'll bring all the steel shit I have. Just show up guys if you know where it is. I'd rather spend all day coaching than shooting. Even though I have a new, very annoying brake courtesy of Randall on my rifle...just don't line up next to me nor Charlie.

In a pinch a 6 foot A-frame ladder works great it's stable and folds away. The rungs are 1,2,3,4,and 5 feet high. The Barricade used at Vegas is 2,3, and 4 foot.

You can met me at my house or the Market that's close off the freeway. Exit Sand Canyon off the 14 fwy, turn left and there will be a Cocco's and gas station on the left... Turn in there I will will meet you there.... We can get gas when you drop me off or before if needed....let me know the time.... If the rest of the guys want to meet here too, this might be a good spot... Not a problem to leave your car parked here for the day and its a ok area with lots of traffic....

Guys I am going to have to bail on this trip. My wife finally got me sick and I can't seem to shake it. I thinking I would feel better but it's just getting worse.

I hope you all still go shooting anyway.

If any of you guys just has to shoot tomorrow, Jeff and I are going to hit Angeles tomorrow. I didn't even bother to post about it previously because shooting at Angeles pales next to shooting at the spot. But since the spotfest tomorrow appears canceled, please feel free to join Jeff and me at Angeles if you want. We'll do our usual of breakfast at Ranchside Cafe @ 7:00 a.m. and Angeles thereafter.
