The California Precision Rifle Club is proud to announce that our next match will be Sunday April 10th at the Angeles Ranges.

Signups start at 7:00am and shooting should start at 8:15am when the line goes hot.
Please arrive at the left side of the Angeles rifle range no later than 7:30am to complete your waivers, sign-in and get assigned your shooter numbers.
Your shooters number is also your position on the line so please lineup accordingly.

This will be the 4th match of out 2011 points series.

Match fee is $20 for Caprc members or $30 for non members.
The match fee also includes use of the range after the match is completed.
We usually try to finish by 1pm.
Bring 50 rounds of match grade ammo.
Be prepared to shoot as close as 10yds and as far as 700yds.
Be prepared to shoot from standing, kneeling, seated, prone and other improvised postions.
Bring a backpack to shoot off of for stages that don't allow a bipod.



This match is open to bolt action and semi-auto rifles from 223 up through 308.
A velocity limit of 3100 fps will be in effect to reduce damage to club-owned steel targets.
Bipods, slings, shooting mats and rear bags are allowed and recommended.
Chamber flags are mandatory and are available from the club if needed.



Line helper RSVP's will be accepted anytime.
Member RSVP's will be accepted after 12 noon on Monday April 4th.
Non-Member RSVP's will be accepted after 12 noon on Tuesday April 5th.
RSVP's posted before those times will be ignored.

Please RSVP by posting something very definite in this thread such as "I am in" or "I will be there" as we will ignore "maybe" or "if" RSVP's.
We are going to cap this at 27 shooters.
If you RSVP and later figure out that you can't come, please post that as well so we can keep the RSVP list current and move people up from the waiting list.

As a medical person Ryan, you know that will can get you through alot of things but remember you had a ruptured appendix with an open incision (assuming) and drain... This doesn't sound like you should be running around the firing line.. Rest up man and let Kristie be your nurse...

Luckily it didn't fully rupture. Just had the drain for 2 days. When they removed that, things felt 100% better in a matter of minutes. Been at work for the last 2 days, just moving a little more slowly. Don't want to shoot, just help. Can't lay on my stomach just yet. Think I need a week or two for that.

I don't know if you guys need any more hands at the shoot, but I'm in for helping out if you need a noob helper.

Sorry guys but I have to back out as a helper. I had shoulder surgery last Thurs and thought I would be ready to help out but Im still real sore and dont want to take any chances with messing it up.

Clinics do not make competitors. We do 1 a year with 50 participants and will be lucky to turn 2 to 3 of those 50 into regular competitors.

For those of you that don't read the entire announcement thread, please pay careful attention to this part right here. Angeles now starts at 8am instead of 9am on weekends so this will be our first match at the new time.
