Hope to see you guys next month but doubtful though as my wife is due any day now with our second baby. Hard to find an excuse to get to the range just yet. :)

Did anyone happen to pickup a Black Jacket with an IR US Flag Patch on the right arm.
Jacket is made by a company called SORD and it has a label on the front.

If you found it please contact me. I really like that jacket and they don't make them anymore.

Thanks

Seriously, had a lot of fun today. Does nothing for my ego but I learned a lot. I learned that I have a lot to learn. One of my biggest problems is locating targets, so I gotta practice more behind the scope. The unsupported, positional stuff as usual kicked my ass. The biggest challenge was the no prep time. That messed with my head for the first 6 or 7 stages. No prep time combined with trouble finding targets came together to make sure I didn't get any shots off on several stages. Had 50 rounds ready but only shot 28. Thanks Randall for taking your revenge.

This is bullshit. I didn't even make it into the caliber list. Fuck.

This video of Keith pretty much sums up my day:

Great match with very interesting courses of fire today. Thank you to the organizers and volunteers, and congratulations to the top finishers.

Special congratulations to Brian for the Silver Medal and Top 308. That was epic.

Without sounding gay, did anyone else notice that Brian had a little extra something going on today?

Sure, he shot great. But he had some pizzazz going on today, that little extra spring in his step.

Here's Brian from the January match:

Image

He's got his Home Depot table saw glasses and dorky hat there on there. And today he was rocking the Ray Bans:

Image

He's all Coolio here:

Image

I don't think it's a coincidence that he scored these:

I asked him about that. He said, "I wear suits everyday. This is nothing." He was dressed the way I dress when I go to work. On a good day.

Great idea. We got to play Carlos Hathcock for a short time.

Unfortunately, I hit the barrel. (Target A4).

Excellent shooting today gents... I got to see a side of the match that I do not normally get to see as I put down the rifle this month and decided to help out... I spotted for Stage 3 the Timed Exposure event. Most every single shooter was hitting the berm instead of the target. I don't know if the IPSC was placed further back or what the deal was, but it was a difficult stage and several shooters zero'd this stage due to inability to find the target..

Watched Keith shoot 5 out of the 6 KYL's. He would have shot the 6th, but he ran out of time. Overall, a great day and still had fun even though I wasn't shooting....

A big thanks to the guys who came to help run the line today. Running 6 steel stages was new for us and it went incredibly smoothly due largely in part to all the great help we had today.

I switch but it usually helps to get onto targets much quicker when transitioning between steel targets

They would not let us use a rooftop prop, even when it was lowered down to not block any of the view of the benches.
