It seems like we are shooting every weekend now, but the next monthly club match is only a couple weeks away.
For those of you that shot the first couple matches, let me know what you liked and did not like so I can be sure to make the next match even better.

Please RSVP here as well, even if you did not shoot the last two matches...

I am looking forward to attending this match....went to the 1st informal one that we held in February...Liked doing the side prone stuff and doing the cold bore....should be better this month since we can now put out our own steel....

Do you guys shoot only Sundays? I wish you guys would shoot on Saturdays too, because Sundays I can't shoot.

I told my mother this would work out great because I'd go shoot the match and then come home and participate in whatever family dinner we have planned. (that's what we've always done) Then she broke the news to me that its going to be brunch this year! I'm out guys, have fun!

It looks like a small group.
That means we can either finish quicker, or shoot more rounds.
Plan on 60 rounds.
If we get tired, we can stop earlier...

With fewer shooters, we are going to do more stages that are 1 shooter at a time.
I figure we are still done by 11:30 though.

Bring your 12yd and 25yd dope.

Course of Fire is all done.
Bring at least 45 rounds.

Targets are all printed except for the hostage targets that Brad is going to do tomorrow.

I should be there if they don't call me to work. Will there be any time to sight in or is there a cold bore stage?

I've only been at the rifle and pistol range area at Angeles a few time. Is this where this is going to be held or another area within Angeles?

I'll be there tomorrow for this match.
Is there a particular match fee, or is it just the regular range fee?
See y'all tomorrow.

Storm, the match is held at the far end of the high power range, the left side of the club house.

Don't pay at the club house.
The match is $25.00 and that includes range fees and target frames.
We will collect the money and have you sign the wavers.

Ok thanks. I'll go just to watch and see how it's done. My newbie setup won't be complete till the end of the month.

I'm definitely in for tomorrow, it's been a while since my last shoot but oh well, definitely excited. Please tell me there's going to be a pistol stage!

I think Randall is gonna pull some crazy stuff like 12 yard cold bore...

I can tell you that it won't be 12yds and it won't be 100yds.
It will be somewhere in between though.
There will be a pistol stage, but you don't need to bring a pistol.

I shot some GS loads in sac, and saw you shoot some little groups as well. The ammo is not going to cause that dramatic a shift if nothing else has changed in your loads. If everything was torqued well, you know where the problem most likely lies. If you throw a known reliable scope on the rifle and problems disappear, well, there's confirmation.

Whens the Hensoldt supposed to arrive?

Hensoldt is 6-8 weeks out. I am going to pickup a NF this week. 5-25 is already boxed up ready to go back to PH.

Bummer man. That feeling of having shit fail on you when you need it really sucks. Like you said, at least it wasn't at TBRC. Speaking of which...James-bring a backup.

Yeah........

My back up is going to be the Falcon off my .22lr unfortunately. That is unless i find a deal i can't pass up on a used Mil/Mil Nightforce before then.

Funds suck at the moment. Just got my SPS V last week and all i need for it now is a NF, rings, and a base. I ordered the A5, badger M5 metal, brake, bolt knob, and had Randall install the brake for me yesterday. Then last week i dropped some serious cash on my 17yr old cat on vet bills and ended up losing him anyway. If a good deal comes up on a NF i wont pass it up though so if you hear of anyone selling one let me know.
