First Time Shooting Prone

So I went to Angeles today. It was nice meeting Keith and his wife, as well as, Ronnie and John.
I tried shooting prone for the first time and I felt silly. First of all, I already feel silly putting a 10x scope and bipod on a 16" AR. But then taking that a step further and shooting from prone, I just felt out of place with all the bolt gun folks.
So no post of mine would be complete without a question. Where the heck am I supposed to put the stock when shooting from prone? I tried a few different place and so far, its most comfortable just under my collar bone. I accidentally had it resting ON my collar bone for one shot and I decided never to do that again. I usually try to put the stock between my shoulder muscle and my chest when shooting from other positions but from the prone, I couldn't get it to sit there. It sat most comfortably under my collar bone more towards the inside of my chest muscle.
In anycase, I think I'm improving a little bit in the accuracy department. I am by no means a sub MOA or even a 1 MOA shooter with my AR, but I'm better than I was last week.
Can't wait to get my bolt gun . . . just a month away.
