Hey Men,
We are having our monthly this Sunday (10/17) at West End Gun Club. We will not be having our night shoot the night before, however we will be shooting on Sunday as planned.
We start around 0730, $20.00 per shooter and 60 rounds. We will start at the 500 and then move to the 200 to wrap up which should be around noon-1200.
For those of you helping out, we will be meeting at the Gate @ 0630 and for those of you who are extra ambitious, we meet up at Denny's between 0530-0545 off of Baseline and the I-15 in Fontana. Yes I know Denny's is not a 5 star restaurant, however what else is open at that time.
This will be the last shoot before the 2010 SCPRC in November. I would like to run targets in the back for the long range game so that means we will be pulling targets.
I need to know how many are coming. So please let me know so I can plan ahead, thanks it really helps to know in advance.
Mark

Mark, several people will be in AZ to get the last chance to shoot on that range, however, since I am shooting your match and not the AZ match, I will be at your match....So I guess this was a long winded way to say....

Ahhh yes grasshopper, they are work indeed. ;)
Some of my crew and I will be going Saturday and spending the night at the Range. We need to run a few things, check a few things and fix a few things prior to the SCPRC and to set up for Sunday. I want to shoot LONG RANGE Paper this Sunday and use the pits. So everyone set up at the 500. Please park down below so we don't have a parking jam upstairs please. Also, the front gate may be closed in the AM on Sunday, however I will send someone down at around 0715 to open up. We can't leave the gate open until Larry the RM gets there.
Bring 60 rounds for the match please, more if you want, never hurts.
Since we will have more time to set up I plan to use the barricades at the 200 for practice.
See you Sunday, Mark

NO PRIZE TABLE or food, Just a 2 day comp. Challenge Coins, Shirts, Mugs & Trophies Pete. 2 Days, bring 150 rounds, most likely only shoot a 100 rounds but you never know. Limited to 36 shooters. A few spots left and if we don't max out that's fine with us. $125 per entry, $135 if you shoot as a team with combined score. November 13th & 14th, 2010.

Holy crap.. the $135 per team won me over. Would have been a go on this except i'll be in Montana until the 14th. Grr.

WEGC 10/17 PBR Match Scores

Hey Men,
Sorry for late post on scores, I left the scores in the trailer and got back late.
Anyways, we had 10 shooters that did pretty good shooting in the fog. We got the long range stuff done first and good thing because Brad "Snappy" brought the fog with his jinx. We had to stop before shooting the last few stages since visibility got down to about 50 Yards.
Ok we had four shooters make their CB at 450+ yards at a 10" plate, good job guys;
1) Brad Bolves + 50
2) James Jeffries + 50
3) Joe Hernandez + 50
4) Scott Cochran + 50
Here are the final overall scores. You young whipper snappers can say what you want, but thee Ol' Snapper pulled it off, Grandpa I think some of you say:
1) Brad B. "Snappy" - 433 Points / "the ol' man" sometimes has to show the kids up.....Good Job Brad. Bring your game next month amigo.
2) James J. - 361 Points / Good job James and thank you for helping out next month.
3) Brandon M. - 331 Points / No rookie mistakes next month bro :o
4) Scott C. - 316 Points / Good runs today Scotto
5) Rich G. - 278 Points / Good Job Rich, thanks for helping out next month
6) Joe H. - 267 Points / Joe, next month bro turn it on
7) Sonny M. - 157 Points / Keep up the practice Sonny
8) Jeff K. - 152 Points / Jeff, bro you gots to have that rig dialed in before that match
9) Kevin H. - 122 Points / Come back and stay with it
10) Steven P. - 107 Points / Our new Medic for the 2010 SCPRC ;)
Practice your positional, dry fire and get ready Men.
Mark

Thanks Mark fore another fun and challenging match.
I like the one stage called find the steel in the fog.
Now if I can remember how I did this.
You know what they say, Memory is the second thing to go, and I forgot what the first thing was.
See you in 4 weeks.
Brad

Did you see him game us on the pole stage though? I demand a disqualification!! Haha good shooting old man! Ill be ready for that pole next time. I don't think any of us could've beat you unless we shot a damn near perfect match. You followed rule #1 and it payed off. Excellent job!!! We wont be so easy on you next time

Nope, that's ryan's rule.

We all fuck up that rule at least once per match. You were smooth and consistent all day with no f-ups that I noticed. We all knew by the 3rd stage that it would be a battle for 2nd. Well done!

Ha...Last place...I made some rookie mistakes and I paid for it big time....It was amazing how much my dope was off in the rain/fog...Almost 2 moa's higher...that caused me to miss the CBS, then for holdovers, i just blanked out and forgot that at 5.5 each hashmark is
4, thats four! MOA's

Oh well, I could see that Brad was on fire...made his CBS, and then cleaned the very next stage....we knew then it was all downhill for us.....then there was the stage that all 10 of us were firing under cover at once...that stage got me...I flinched so much on that stage....Oh well, more practice for next month....
