Since I am probably the closest to the meeting spot, I will lead the caravan up again...Got room for 1 more shooter in my vehicle with the understanding that I am going to be staying late to shoot after everybody else....Plus I need the room for all the potato salad and another easy-up...

This event is for newbies and is an open invitation to anyone interested in learning more about long range shooting. Please refer to the first post in this thread for instructions.
Please reply in this thread with "I'll be there!" We don't accept maybes or probablys. Also a $20 donation helps the club maintain targets and other needed supplies.

James and Jawcn,
See the 1st post of this thread. Randall is asking for a $40.00 donation for this event...Maybe extra for the BBQ? What ever, its still worth it....

I have a propane fueled camp stove (large size, not one of those tiny Coleman stoves either). It's not a BBQ, but it will cook meat. I also have a decent size collapsible canopy / sunshade that I could bring in my SUV if it would be of use.
I'll also have 4 open seats in my SUV to shuttle people out to the range site. It would be helpful if someone who has been to the site before came with me, otherwise I am sure I won't have any problem following the convoy leader on my own.
Looking forward to coming out next weekend. I think I managed to save 60-100 rounds of match ammo to practice with.

Ok, here's how we're gonna do it guys.
Kevin (khw9mm) is bringing ice bags and drinks (Gatorade, water, sodas, beers...oops, I'll skip that one)
Steve (Gnzrme) is bringing the wifes bomb diggity potato salad
(linkpimp) is bringing Plates, silverware, napkins, cups, etc, etc..

Ryan (rksimple) is bring a BBQ
We still possibly need 1 more BBQ guys
James (DirtRacer151) is going to bring steaks, chicken, beans, and corn
anything else???
Would the guys above confirm that you are in for bringing the above items. If for any reason you will not be making it to the shoot or can't not bring your items please let me know ASAP so i can bring them myself. (951)236-6579 James

James I am confirming for attendance, potato salad, 1 extra easyup, and the leader for the caravan...
In regards to the new wheels...congrats, they look nice...I know what you mean about the $$. That is why I don't just get rid of my car even though its nickle and diming me to death...Its paid for and I am not ready to spend another 500-700/month for a new vehicle...

I got Savage 10-FCK, EGW base, SS 20-40, IOR rings for free so i can not complain. I want to learn more so i can make a wise decision when i need a new stick.

I thought about it.... to replace it with a 700 and everything to go with it OUCH ! free versus 2500.00 its a hard pill to swallow when i am green to long range shooting. In the past 3 months i have learned a great deal though. Savage would not be the platform to start with if i were spending my money. I learn and enjoy it for what it is for now. I am sure this weekend wont help looking at all the nice set-ups hahaha
I got into shooting because its cheaper than my racing.... its starting to consume me as much as racing haha I LOVE IT !
