We were assigned with an OUTSTANDING group of shooters: Chase Stroud (Match Winner), Rich Emmons (PRS Pres), Tate Moots (NM Tactical Rifle Match), Jim See (Centershot & Surgeon) and a bunch of us SCal guys. What a learning experience and the nicest fellows you will ever meet. Everyone of them was so helpful and willing to share everything.

Why did you decide to go with 123s for this match? Just curious...buffybuster wrote: Well, you may have a point.
That and 123's have no place shooting that far. I got one hit beyond 1Kyds, from all the shots. Tate Moots was also shooting 123's and he also had great difficulty connecting beyond 1Kyds.
Beyond that, it was a bunch of unforced errors on my part.

I didn't have time to develop a load with 140's, so I had to roll with what I had. I didn't think there were going to be so many shots at LR.khw9mm wrote:

The LV guys know how to throw a 1st class match for sure. I wish I had the chance to make it...maybe next year.

Re: 2015 VEGAS PRECISION RIFLE CHALLENGE BY KELBLY'S.
we just came through another good ,well organized match .
Thank you Sin city group who put this match together, special thanks to ROY Drew to be able to organize and get permission from NELLIS AFB as he is a Capitan at the base.
here is the placement and the score of the so cal shoother
12 shooters attended the match with the following results.
SOLOMAN M 17th place with 117 points
JAMES J. 20th. place with 114 points
RAY R. 22 nd place with 113 points
Nathan W. 35 th place with 101.5 points
Danny N. 37 th place with 100.5 points
Henry G. 38 th place with 98.5 points
JOE H. 42 nd place with 95 points
Rich C. 52 nd place with 88 points
EVIN G. 58 th place with 86 points
ESTEBAN M. 65 th. place with 75 points
HENRY S. 67 th place with 71.5 points Henry remember what we talked about.
REESE S. 71 st place with 50 points.
This is a reminder that we need more practice I am saying it even to myself because in the last six months i only had one monthly match done ,you lag behind if you don't practice .
from day one which is 3.5 years ago I used a NIghtforce second focal MOA based scope
there has been times that i wished I had a First focal MIL based scope ,this match was certainly one of them, on couple of stages we had to go from 300 yrds to 980 and another was from 460 to 1110 yrds where it killed me i had to turn that knob 3 turns to get to and come back.
I am changing my scope .

Ahhh! Good times. I had a blast. Learn a ton and meet some really cool people. Walked away knowing I need practice and more practice. I had some awesome stages that I did very well in and some I walked away thinking where the hell my head went.
