Thanks for everything! I had a great time and learned a lot, . This was the second "A" class I've been to and I can see the improvement. I'm still slow but I shot much better than my last class. It is really amazing that you guys give your time to getting this sport opened up to new precision shooters.

Cheers!

It was a great group today guys. Everyone took the input and instruction well, and really tried to implement changes for the most part. I saw improvement in a number of the shooters, and we were able (for the most part) to get equipment issues taken care of on those rifles that had them.
I'm glad all those people that made it out today did so; this was my first time assisting at a CAPRC clinic, and the caliber of the shooters today made me glad I took my Sunday to help out.

Thanks to the rest of the CAPRC guys on the line today, and an especially big thanks to Mike and Randall for the food prep; delicious as usual.
Charlie, great job again; it seems like you've really gotten into the groove for the classroom portion since my "A" clinic. Also, I think you need to work on your shotgunning some; if we're attacked by water bottles at close range, we're screwed. ;)

Thank you for noticing. We are all volunteers, nobody gets paid a dime to help and run CaPRC. In fact, it personally costs us time and gas money to put on clinics and matches with all the running around to the range, stores, Kinkos, Home Depot, etc for supplies. We do it because we love the sport and want to see it grow. We only ask that you help support CaPRC when you can by attending our events, and eventually volunteering to help out when you can. With everybody working towards the same goal, we hope to do good things in tactical/precision rifle shooting in So Cal. On that note, I was impressed as a whole by the shooters today. The level of shooting and improvement was excellent. Now, you guys need to do the real work: Putting everything you were taught into effective practice. The B clinic is about gathering dope out to 600 yards, you need to have your fundamentals down for that to happen.

Just chiming in with a big thanks to all the volunteers, Charlie, who nailed the classroom and hot-weather torture tests, the fellow who loaned me his mat (no, it turns out that inflatable sleeping bag pad really doesn't work well) the guys who manned the grill, and everyone else who came with great attitudes. Look forward to more shooting with you. Downside of day: reconvinced I need to shorten my barrel, put on a good brake, and lighten the trigger (maybe a different stock too... the factory stock just doesn't feel right, can't get comfortable with it.)
