I have a Howa 1500 .308, with the scope it came in as a package. It's and 4-16x NikkoStirling Nighteater. I also have a Colt M4 with a M223 3-12 BDC. What would be the best rifle for the class.

I know this is a hail mary but here it goes anyway. My rifle (Ruger American) is still in jail so I was wondering if someone in CaPRC could rent/borrow a rifle to me for attending this clinic. In any case I will attend this event at least as an observer to learn from the folks.

Do we pay at the range?

They usually have some but I wouldn't rely on it. Anyway, they charge $38 a box

If you pick up some factory match 308 or 223 ammo, we can usualy chase down extra rifles to help people out.

You pay for the class when you sign-in on the morning of the shoot.

Thank you, good sir.

Since it's too late to order from online, does anyone know a good source of match ammo in SFV or West LA area?

Try these:
http://www.caprc.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=3680" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

PM Member Chris who is a commercial reloader and sells match 308 ammo:

I have an extra bolt gun in 223 if anyone needs a loaner.
If our line helpers could also bring out their in-used 308 bolt guns, we should also have enough different guns for anyone needing a loaner gun or who wants to try a specific stock or scope.

We have foam and masking tape to build up cheekpieces.
We have a wide selection of rear bags for people to try out or borrow as needed.

I have picked up the bbq's and food.
We have tri-tip, sausages and chicken as well as sides, drinks and snacks.
We could use some extra folding tables to prep and serve food.
If you have a truck and a spare folding table, please bring it out tomorrow.
