When: Saturday 1/5/2013 morning (exact time TBD)
Where: Around north end of the upper Castaic Lake. 5 freeway and Templin Highway. Near BRRC if your familiar with that range.
Terrain: Easy hike, mostly following a forestry road through a canyon. About 2.5 hours round trip. Mild elevation change. You do criss cross a stream that may have flowing water now after the rains so be prepared for water, bring dry socks, etc.
This is for fun, to get in shape, and enjoy nature so join if you can. Put your hiking gear to the test. See if you can actually carry your BOB more than a few blocks
