OK, my night is consumed by family and I forgot a few things. Can someone bring some paper towels and something to put the beans in on the BBQ to warm them up? |

Anyone think I could catch a ride with them from the Park N' Ride to the spot? My car....in addition to being well on it's way to being no longer cost worthy to repair status, has no A/C anymore. |

Sorry I can't be there! But I'm "Working" sunday. That's how I fund all the fun. I'm a Real Estate Broker....need I say more. Everyone have a good shoot. Ben Remember being #2 means that you are the very best of all the "loosers". That's why I'm at ASR so often. Next year when it's North vs South, I want to be one of "12 Angery Men" |

Have fun guys, give James some double earpro, it looks like he might be overly sensitive to loud noises in the morning. |

Thanks too all the guys that put so much work into making today a lot of fun. Sorry I couldn't stay longer, I really would have liked to take a few cracks at that 1000 yard steel, maybe next time. Thanks especially to all the guys that went out of their way to help re-zero my scope after I needed to re-position it. I know things slowed down due to zeroing issues, I'll buy each of you a beer/drink next time we get a chance to drink while not handling rifles. Outstanding clinic, answered a ton of my questions and offered a lot of great advice. Thanks again. |

I had a great time. Have to work on my DOPE more though. Zeroing to 100 went a lot easier and quicker for me than I thought....after that though I was having trouble trying to find the correct DOPE for the 450.... On the plus side, since I finished getting my zero somewhat quickly, I was able to have a small amount of time to take some pictures(22 of them I think). The pictures are all about 1.5 to 2 MB each so if anyone knows an easy way to make the file size smaller so I can post them on here that would be great. Thanks everyone for your tips and guidance. It's definitely something I want to continue and get better at. Gnzrme.....tell your wife the potato salad was excellent and I think was a big hit. |

Ok here's all the pictures I took. I apologize for the lack of better photos but the line was a bit crowded so it was hard for me to get in there without stepping on anyone or their equipment. The originals I have are much bigger. If anyone wants me to email them the full-size photo of them, shoot me a PM with your email address. Sorry to anyone I didn't get. To those who I took multiple pictures of....don't worry, I don't have a man-crush on you. You just had more space around you at the time for me to take pictures without disturbing anyone. |

It was a great day. Thanks to everyone for their advice. It was great to meet all of you. I learned a lot... I learned that all I need now is a 20moa base, some new glass with a mil dot reticle, a fully bedded stock and a bipod that swivels. Seriously it was a lot of fun and I look forward to the next one. hopefully with some upgrades, like a super sniper 20x and HS stock. |

Ok thanks for the info on the SS. I think that the base will help. I couldn't get out to 1k with my Redfield but I was happy with it until I maxed it out. I'll hold off on the glass for a while. At least until i get in some more trigger time. For my first time ever shooting a bolt gun I had a blast. I'm hooked! Nathan send me a PM on your stock. I'm interested. |
