This month was a walk back from 775yds back to the 200yd flag pole. The conditions were mild, mostly sunny, no rain and only few make that one little mud patch on the road out to 600...pretty much perfect.
All Steel targets-
Stage 1- Kneeling w/Sling. 10 shots at 4 targets, par time-90sec. =10 points possible. Henry, Steve and Martin-5 hits each for high score.
Stage 2- Sitting w/Tripod or Bipod w/bag. We backed up to the top of the 600 yd impact berm (@700 yds). Same COF as stage 1, par time-80sec. =10 pnt. poss., Martin-7 hits for high score.
Stage 3- Prone w/Bipod. Moving back to the 600 yd berm and shooting at steel placed at the 1,000 yd. berm. The trick here was to clean the 4 targets twice which allowed you to attempt 1 shot for 3 pnts. at the segmented spinner "lollypop", 9 shots at 5 targets, par time-80sec. =11pnt. poss. Steve pounded the 4 plates twice then...spun the lolly like a boss. Well done, G.
Stage 4- Prone w/Bipod. Further back this time at the @380yd flag berm. Same COF as previous par time-90sec., 4 plates x 2 plus lollypop, if clean. It was James' turn to pound those plates clean this time but alas the lolly escaped unscathed on this stage.
Stage 5&6- Timed exposure/Movers w/Bipod. Steve and Jeff cleaned the static exposures but James cleaned the Movers with a combined score of 19/20 which gave him the match win. James Atkins - Match Winner
