The California Precision Rifle Club is proud to announce their next centerfire match will be Sunday May 26th at the Angeles Ranges.

Signups start at 7:00am and shooting should start at 8:15am when the line goes hot.
Please arrive at the left side of the Angeles rifle range no later than 7:30am to sign-in and get assigned your shooter numbers.
Your shooters number is also your position on the line so please lineup accordingly.

Match fee is $20 for Caprc members or $30 for non members.
The match fee also includes use of the range after the match is completed.
We usually finish by 1pm.
Bring 70 rounds of match grade ammo.
Be prepared to shoot as close as 10yds and as far as 600yds.
Be prepared to shoot from standing, kneeling, seated, prone and other improvised postions.
Bring a backpack to shoot off of for stages that don't allow a bipod.



This match is open to bolt action and semi-auto rifles from 223 up through 308.
A velocity limit of 3100 fps will be in effect to reduce damage to club-owned steel targets.
Bipods, slings, shooting mats and rear bags are allowed and recommended.
Chamber flags are mandatory and are available from the club if needed.



Line helper RSVP's will be accepted anytime.
Member RSVP's will be accepted anytime.
Non-member RSVP's will be accepted after 12noon Monday 5/20.

Please RSVP by posting "I am in" or "I will be there" as we will ignore "maybe" or "if" RSVP's.
If you RSVP and later figure out that you can't come, please post that as well so we can keep the RSVP list current.

BTW, I highly encourage all the new club members to start attending these matches. You will be surprised how much you will learn by coming out and seeing how this game is played. I guarantee you will learn learn at least five things at every match just by showing up. More importantly, you get to meet the folks in the club face to face and start making some new friends with a bunch of great people. Don't be intimidated just because you are new. We were all new at some point too. There are no egos out there anyway. So, come on out and join the fun. We hope to see you all there.

As some of you know, my mother died last year. I was bummed out and didn't feel like shooting. But now I want to get back into things again.

I hope my rifle is zeroed. I may have screwed around with it, but I don't think I did. We'll see Sunday.

I just loaded 100 rounds for Sunday. It was awful. I hadn't loaded in so long I lost all of my routine and tiger technique. It took forever too. And my back hurts.

What time are the matches usually finished by?
If I can be out of there by 2pm, then I would like to attend.
