Hello all I'm new to the forum, I'm looking at expanding my knowledge of places and matches available to shoot and meet people in Southern California, I'm located aboard Camp Pendleton currently at least another year, and usually shoot at pala rifle range as it's the only place I've really ever known of and shot the long range matches there but would like to do more "PRS" style shooting.

As far as gear goes I've shot a slightly modified savage model 11 in 6.5cm for the last 4 years, B&C m40 stock, Burris XTR2 thats it. So it's reliable Honda Civic, No mercelago but she does me good for the time I've had her.

Work has been hectic the past 1-1/2 yrs so I haven't shot as much as I'd like due to not having the time, but I'm putting my foot back in the door!

Looking forward to maybe shooting with some people on here at matches locally

I am also looking for opportunities to shoot long range. I volunteered for a Santa Margarita Gun Club event, but they hold all of their events on Camp Pendleton which restricts shooters to military calibers only. My rifle is chambered in .260 so I would have to build a new rig to participate there. I'd be interested in hearing about where your travels take you.
